Awesome video. Y’all are living the dream for sure! I will say it’s extremely frustrating as a student pilot (back when I was at that phase) when everyone says, “Just look in the ACS”. The ACS only states very broad, general subjects for the oral portion of the practical test. The questions that are going to be asked are absolutely NOT in the ACS. Saying that what you need to know for a check ride is in the ACS, is like saying, just know everything in 14 CFR 91. If someone wants the best possible chance for passing the oral portion of a check-ride, then using ASA’s Oral Exam Guide series for preparation is about as good as it gets for a one-stop-shop solution. At least that resource has not only the categories, but specific questions, the answers, the explanations, AND the references.

As I type this, he is currently doing the check ride with son for his PPL before he heads off to college next week. How cool is it that he is in aerobatics?!?! I hope to catch them in action someday.
