One of my biggest regrets is not seeing one of these shows

Steve Gorman, just sitting back there making it look effortless, as always. He is so underrated.

I once owned that TV Model that Rich is playing. I sold them a bunch of my guitars when they were at SIR in NYC rehearsing. Great guys.We were drinking beer and partying at 10:30 in the morning...lol...Marc Ford was also playing with them then.

Such a simple but powerful riff, made majestic by page’s guitar harmonies and layering

Man this sounds soooooo good with 3 guitars!!! Love it....how it should be performed live!!! It reminds me so much of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac...Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan ....I think Jimmy was a big fan of Peter Green!!!

It's interesting watching Page play this on his Les Paul No.1. He used his Black Beauty in the 1970 Royal Albert Hall version. The extra two guitars with The Black Crowes makes this version fantastic. The RAH version is stunning.

k. Russell - I really think the RAH was a seminal gig . Unbelievable , and I have a massive soft spot for Black Beauty’s !

You can take The Beatles as the greatest rock band, its fine. But to me is Zeppelin man, they were , still are and forever will be the real deal. Jimmy is a guitar genius, nough said!!

Those guitar harmonies are so money. This is why this was the greatest thing ever because Jimmy always had a lot of over dubs and multiple guitar parts on Zepp records but couldn't play a lot of their songs live because of only having one guitar. Rich and Audley were so tight on this tour. They all were. Best shows I have ever seen in my life hands down and I have seen a lot of bands the last 20 yrs. God its weird to feel old at 35 wtf?
@guitarttimman4 жыл бұрын
Even at 38, cherish it. I'm 59. Cherish 38. Fall in love with it. Takes pics of it because once it's gone, it is gone forever. At 38 I thought I was so old. I wasn't old at all. It's funny how the mind works. I WANT MY 38 back. Shit dude. I'd settle for 40.

LOL at 45 I worked at a place where a 15 year old girl ran up to me and grabbed my hand before I knew what was happening. Of course I had to LET HER DOWN EASY! Oh but in my head I was thinking, "wow I wish I could be 15 right now." Years fly by so fast man.

Man Chris nailed this so good. This is the very next best thing to Led Zeppelin I've ever seen. For not actually being Led Zeppelin, this is as close to it as it could get. They sound so good together. I love the Black Crows, but this is even better, sorry Chris, than their music which is also very great.

Steve Gorman, Drummer for the Black Crowes. He is fucking awesome. So underrated because he wasn't a flashy, busy player throwing chops in every other measure but he has probably the best pocket and easily one of the best sense of feel out of any drummer I have ever heard. Every album of theirs since their second(SHMC) he records his drum parts in a week, and if there say 10 songs on an album, 7 or 8 of those are first takes but I think a lot of the time they don't record individually they do it the old fashion way and lay it down in the studio live. He's bad ass.
