9:45 it's not deploying because there is a maximum allowed amount of energy you can use in a single lap, regardless of you much is in the battery. Because the lap is so big, you will almost certainly run out by the time you reach the long boi straight

Limited deployment per lap - regardless of track length/time. i.e there is charge in the battery for the following lap, but F1 regs prevent you from using it on that previous lap if you have already used your allocation :)

Looking at those F1 wheels always amaze me. I think I would struggle to keep track of all the settings in an F1 car. I've driven karts for 25 years and the most you have to focus on there is gear up/down if you're in a gearkart and then the carburator fuel setting. And in rare cases control the amount of air the radiator gets if the engine gets too cold in rainy weather. You have to remember that when you race, your focus is 101% on that. Dividing your attention to other things is not pleasant.
