You're right about Hugh Beaumont, but the boy is Brad Morrow who was pretty busy in television during the 50s. I remember him from two color episodes of The Lone Ranger. Morrow died in 1997. The mother is Aline Towne who also placed Lara to Robert Rockwell's Jor-el in the first episode of Superman.

When I watched “The Untouchables” I was surprised to see younger versions of Edward Platt (the chief of CONTROL), Dwayne Hickman of Dobie Gillis, the professor on Gilligan’s Island”, and a few more I can’t remember right now. These actors were either on the payroll or some sort of retainer. They were usually villains.

"Could he have gotten the elevator that quickly," Jimmy wondered. "Maybe the store room," Lois suggested. But by the time she opened the door, Superman was already out the window.
