@@DGFTardinFunfact, 2D sprites in Unity and other software like Blender (think Grease Pencil), are actually fully meshed objects that have zero on the Z-axis so that they don’t have ‘depth’ and are 2D, but if the camera is unlocked you can rotate around them in the 3D environment:

"every belly has its bolt" - Iono Cant say I expected a video on Bellibolt's success in competitive pokemon but I've always been fascinated by electromorphosis, seeing it stand up to the likes of the paradox pokemon "great neck" using this unique trait is quite pleasing to me, thanks Jim for sharing this with all of us.

I mean, at this point, Ice is not a Dragon weakness because Dragons can generally overpower Ice types. Ice is just a thing you spam if you are an Ice type, and reap the benefits of the surfeit of Dragon, Ground, and Flying types, and also Grass types.

@@benjiiiiiiiii Lol yeah I agree. While it was a fine game, it really did run like shit. I didn't experience much in the way of glitches, only slowdown (like all the time) and I think it crashed once or twice

@@rjante2236I threw up from the slow down, got on the phone with an actual Nintendo america rep and had a full refund on my e shop purchase (after beating it even) with a full apology. People who did not , are the reason we will be getting a broken half assed gen 2 legends game. Also I was able to put the phone on speaker next to my switch whenever the game started and you could hear it like a freaking jet plane… while if I put on let’s say, Let’s go eevee… we couldn’t even hear the fans. So yea. Full apology and full refund. Be a solution.

I wouldnt recommend this game unless you happen to be a hardcore fan that doesnt care about the game crashing randomly or you see the textures glitch every two seconds. That is because the story for once was actually interesting but... who cares? There isnt even a battle tower to try competitive teams, completely killing the single player experience for the postgame outside of doing the dlcs.

Bellibolt is my favorite type of pokemon. He doesnt have the stats to normally hang our with the big boys and he doesnt just make up for it with something like prankster which seems to hard carry a lot of low stat pokemon. Hes a goofy guy with a good ability that fits a particular role well but has clear flaws to exploit. His gimmick doesnt feel too gimmicky, im glad someone has found a strong role for him.

Love Bellibolt, is my favorite pokemon! I usually am a VGC guy, but its fun to see Bellibolt succeed elsewhere also! Did a Soak-wielding Belli in a trick room team at the start of reg F, it and Hydrapple then went on a crime spree. It was fantastic :D Thanks for the good vids as always!

I ended up using Bellibolt over Kilowattrel in my Scarlet playthrough with only new Pokemon and ended up liking it just due to its bulky nature; the movepool felt kind of limited but I ended up including Soak just to deal with anything that resists Electric and since I'd take a hit for it usually that'd give Parabolic Charge double power.

Never seriously used this in OU, but have gotten good results out of it in UU and lower. Electromorphosis Soak + Toxic sets are always a headache for the opponent to deal with. Probably my favourite all-new pokemon this gen.

If Parabolic Charge didn't hit teammates, this thing would definitely see a higher useage in VGC, but the fact that it's so slow and tanky... is its downfall, since Electric is never used in either of those niches tbh.

Every time I got this thing in random battles I thought it looked horrible and was a guarantee loss if I had it but I’ve always found that bellibolt actually would pick up kills and live a lot of damage thing is surprising in what it can get done.

Bellibolt is great as a support mon. He's of the only non-water which learns soak, soaking your opponent can force a Tera since it sets you up for a kill with thunderbolt or discharge.

I really wish Bellibolt had an ability that set electric terrain, either electric surge or an electric version of seed sower, because Pincurchin is so unbelievably awful that it holds back the future paradoxes compared to the past ones as the only other way to set electric terrian is with the basically always banned Miradon, and Bellibolt would've been the perfect non legendary electric terrian setter.

GF's approach to designing modern Pokemon seems to be handing out signature moves and abilities like candy, and I'm all for it. Lokix, Squawkabilly, Maschiff, Brambleghast, Toedscruel, Cyclizar, Houndstone, Cetitan, Clodsire, the paradoxes, and the loyal trio are the only fully evolved gen 9 mons to not have a signature move or ability. And most of them still have something obviously good going for them, like really good stats or being uniquely good at using their rare-but-not-signature move/ability. Except Squawkabilly. Squawkabilly is ass. Even if all gen 9 mons aren't equally good, they're all worthy for consideration because they all have their special thing they can do and can never be 100% outclassed.
