She lives in California now with her husband. They recorded this one take in his home studio. The official video was made years prior. If you listen closely, you can hear her thick Ukrainian accent in the video, but in the one take her accent has greatly softened.

I'm so glad that you decided to do this song, JuliettJess. Ones which I think you'd like by Jinjer, and, yes, Tatiana is the vocalist, are: "Perennial" live at Wacken Open Air Festival from 2019, if you want to do the official music video too, it might be a good idea because it gives the story as well, but the live performance is better in my opinion. "I Speak Astronomy" the official music video, "Just Another" the official music video, "On The Top" and "Pit of Consciousness" both live in Kiev, "Teacher Teacher" the official music video. There are many more but these are good ones to continue with.

I am very happy seeing Jinjer back on your channel! This is an amazing rabbit hole to fall into!

About half of their songs have some semblance of a verse and chorus structure. A few others like that I'd recommend are Teacher Teacher official (an omv good enough it hasn't been overshadowed by a live version yet) and On The Top live in Kiev (now Kyiv). Cheers!

Watch "Wallflower", it has interesting vocals. One of their softer songs but of course it's still Jinjer.

I really hope you can see them live in 2024. New album is scheduled for this year. Peace and Love from the JINJER army!!! Love your content and commentary! JINJER - "Scissors" is my go to favorite video.

If you want to try another double feature reaction, Perennial live at Wacken is among their best performances and the official video is nice too. Btw the band is called Jinjer, not Jinjir. Your video does not show when searching for "Jinjer".

Everytime I do this 😂 Thanks for letting me know, I keep forgetting the spelling, I’m so dyslexic I constantly do this with my videos, it’s not the end of the world but appreciate people correcting me. It’s my funny little quirk I guess when it comes to misspelling things 😂 I’ll have a lot into the recommendation aswell, thank you! 😊

That's an excellent suggestion. The official video is great, but doesn't get the attention it deserves because the live performance is so awesome.

It isn't the first time i hear someone say they had some issues with the band, by hearing them only once. It is completly normal, it took me several listens to most of their songs, to get into them too. And vortex in my opinion is one of their most complex, besides i speak Astronomie and mediator.

Thanks for this, it’s quite reassuring to hear! It’s one of those situations where I don’t dislike the band at all, it’s just, I needed to listen more and get a general understanding. I do my reviews where I don’t listen to anything other than those chosen songs, so it’s quite hard to imagine you’d like a band after one song? The more I listen to them, the more I’m getting used to them and I really like their style ☺️

Nice review. This is my first visit to your channel & I am so glad you covered both videos. This is unique because I didn't know there was an actual music video so that was a treat. Tati's one take is far superior IMO to the original. Jinjer Pisces Live session is my favorite of all but Vortex and I Speak Astronomy are neat but complicated songs that take a bit to get used to. Thanks Jess! I will check out your previous Jinjer reactions now.

Lol Jinjer is ukrainian proggy djent groove metal with complex time-signature maze, polyrhythms and multi-genre blending. They are one of the most talented 4-pieces ever. Tati is one of the best overall metal vocalists and lyricists in the business. Jinjer - Perennial (Live At Wacken 2019) Jinjer - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - On The Top (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Official Live) Jinjer - Teacher Teacher (Official Video) Jinjer - Captain Clock (Live at Resurrection Fest 2018) Jinjer - Cloud Factory (Official Video) Jinjer - Outlander (failure .color Video) Jinjer - No Hoard of Value (Official Lyrics Video) Jinjer - I Speak Astronomy (Official Video) Jinjer - Wallflower (Official Video) Jinjer - Mediator (Official Video) Jinjer - Disclosure (Official Video) Jinjer - Call Me A Symbol (Official Video) Jinjer - Live At Wacken 2023

Nice reaction. I saw you were a bit unsettled by the OMV - the visuals are a bit disturbing in parts, but if you pay attention there is a little bit of fun in there with the ‘shrunken’ band members playing frenetically on traditional counterparts of their instruments, Tatiana hamming it up big time throughout, and the absent-minded drinking of her own potion shrinking Tatiana as well. I also think that both the studio and one take versions of the song are absolutely killer.

I have no idea why this song would be *less* confusing than Vortex.
@JuliettJess8 ай бұрын
Listening to Vortex as my first song into listening to Jinjer was heavy that’s all. I didn’t understand the logic of the song at the time.

@@baynumando you mean ‘through composed’? That is a term for a song that progresses through its structure without returning to previous parts.

I Speak Astronomy would be a good next Jinjer reaction for ya. The omv is cool but personally i feel like it is a bit of a distraction from the music and lyrics.

If you enjoyed Jinger, you should check out another metal band called Lovebites. They are all female group from Japan and dress up like princesses, but they shred and rock better than almost any band out there today. Please check out a song called Hammer Of Wrath from Knocking Heavens Gate Tour in 2023. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnnViIWKZa-Yl8U If you do be prepared the Wolfpack will invade your channel.
