Great analysis of the role of the guys. Roman on guitars often gets forgotten, but he is incredibly key to their sound by virtue of being a seemingly endless fount of riffs. Vlad and Eugene really stand out by their sheer excellence on drums and bass. The guys create the music first, Eugene says different songs evolve differently. Some are written mostly by one of the guys, while others emerge from the three of them jamming. Then they hand off demo recordings to Tatiana and she finds inspiration for the lyrics and weaves her vocal composition into the song. You aren't kidding about the palm of the hand thing. On stage, Tatiana is utterly mesmerizing. They've had a couple of tours in North America as an opening act, and one tour headlining. They were supposed to be back to the U.S. this spring, but of course that got scrubbed. They definitely will be back when or if things get back to normal. They are still an up-and-coming band so it is mostly small venues. The two times I saw them were last year at 400 and 800 capacity venues, but someone on YT reviewed a show at a 150 person venue. They were trending a bit larger in the planned tour this spring but still very intimate clubs. Looking forward to Perennial at Wacken. Well worth watching the live version of Teacher Teacher for fun, it isn't one where the live performance overshadows the official video as is the case with ones like Perennial and Pit Of Consciousness. Both of those have excellent official videos though, so you could legitimately do both or a double-feature. About the only one where I'm really not a fan of the official video is On The Top which is actually pretty good but weird enough that people get stuck trying to interpret the video instead of listening to the song, while the live in Kiev video is fire. Cheers!

They have at least half a dozen songs that have both an outstanding official video and live counterpart. Many reactors have reacted to the ones that are that good as a double feature reaction. Judgment and punishment has 3 versions. An official video, live in Melbourne and her vocal one take. You can't go wrong picking any two of those three for a double feature.

Watch Roman on youtube do a guitar playthrough of Pit of Consciousness. I have been playing guituar for over 30 years and have always been partial to the shredders, but Roman has total changed my perspective on playing and writing music. His combination of aggressive picking and chording is inspiring. The way it all blends together with the rest of the band is amazing.

In case it hasn't been mentioned, Tati's studio "Judgement and Punishment" (video is hella fun too), but also Spiritbox anything… Rule of Nines was my first from them. You found UTA but they have a lot of other amazing tracks. And lastly, for fun, check out "Hypa Hypa" from Eskimo Callboy. Talk about a blast from the past! The song is awesome but the video is phenomenal. Cheers!

Jinjer only has 4 songs with guitar solos and they are all old songs from when they had 5 members. Since dropping to 4 members they decided that guitar solos didn't really fit their style and they haven't done one since. (Except when playing old songs live, of course.) If you want to hear a song where Roman does some fast and intricate guitar work, plus a solo I would recommend A Plus or a Minus. There is no official live or music video, but there is a lyric video. On Jinjer's youtube page ( Jinjer Metal Band) Roman did a guitar playthrough of the song, I would recommend watching that too -possibly an idea for a double feature. Their style has changed a lot over the years, this song is very reminiscent of old school thrash metal, I think you will like it.

As far as I read this song bears some reality to her - and it's not a teacher but a religious thing - catholic school - u can pretty much hear it here - she grabbed my hand, took me in, placed me in front of a class She gave a hint I was the clou of her mass I’m in the middle of her Holy of Holies, I have no worries! I saw dusty icons on the walls I saw needles and stones So she put a paper bag on my head She pointed finger at me, and then she said: Dear Lord, forgive me as I’m slapping this sinful child By your hand I’m led so I will show what is wrong and what is right Choose your label cuz I’m mercy, merciful Put your knuckles on the table, meet my friend Ferule

Regarding the crowd interaction, you have to realise that Jinjer was on tour as *support act* for Soilwork and Amorphis when they shot the material for this video (that's why there is so much covered stuff on stage). I was there, on the first concert of the tour and it was insane, it sure felt like they were headliner, too. Soilwork, who came after them were almost boring in comparison, at least I can't remember anything from their part. Of course, Amorphis were great, too.

Excellent spotted that guitar and bass in this band are kinda switched their musical roles in comparing with the classical metal. I thought about it but wasn't able to put it into the complete sentence. Interesting that when Jinjer is on the stage the bassist is take the place to the left hand of the singer and the guitarist - to the right hand. In other bands it's usually vice versa.
