No E rank is gonna beat a D rank unless he catch em slipping and that goes for every single rank above. Even with S ranks there is a power dif between them. Jin is saying being smart and cunning will only get you so far against overwhelming power. The smart people have to plan for 1 person to find their win condition but strong people already have their win condition from the very beginning

Overwhelming strength is different when you’re talking about fighting monsters and super humans. In human vs human sports or battles, outsmarting is definitely a way to win. Overwhelming strength ain’t even that overwhelming if you’re talking about two world class fighters. There’s only so big of a gap two people at physical peak can have from one another. Monsters and superhuman on the other hand are a whole other story. I don’t care how smart you are, you not being Goku in a fight. That’s what Overwhelming strength is.

I get what Scru was trying to say. Being smart is definitely an advantage, but weight/size is far more important to consider. There are weight classes in combat sports for a reason. A lightweight (135 lbs) could be Albert Einstein but he's gonna look like a child compared to a super heavyweight (187+ lbs). A lot of fighters will tell you that 10 lbs alone can make a drastic difference, even if they could still win. Pacquiao was smaller and dominated Margarito at Super Welterweight. However, Pacquiao still suffered broken ribs and said that the weight class was too much for him. Anime throws all that logic out the window but you get my point lol.

The key word here is weak. Though still if you're going to get someone who's stronger than you, they are at a huge advantage. You are likely to be at a huge disadvantage. As someone who is a martial artist weighing a buck twenty soaking wet, I've often found myself going against people twice my weight and twice my strength. In short, there are strategies that I could come up with but in all honesty, if the person is skilled strong have a lot of weight and they can move nimbly. And quickly they are at a huge advantage. And i'm at a huge disadvantage no matter what unless I have a weapon or tool. Sticking weaving, it requires that you're able to throw a punch that can knock them off their guard with a punch that they can't eat. But if they can eat your punches you're fucked. At that point, you're basically Vegeta spamming a key blast on Cell. We all know how that ends period that's not to say that I haven't learned how to throw people. Or use grapples, though grapples are not my strong suit. It's just , there's only so much you can do against the advantage of someone being stronger, bigger, and faster, which would be a true for just about any athlete.
