Scru , the orange piccolo is actually a genius way for his power up. Kami( guardian/god of earth)made the dragon balls and the dragon shenron. Piccolo merged back with kami ( demon king& God together) and when he made the wish it was all the potential coming back out. It’s also explained in the manga that warrior as a gift to warrior namekians,getting a wish is a great honor and that is their reward. So him getting a powerful transformation from the dragon he created ( Kami created ) is actually well thought out ……Gohan was bs tho

Yeah the first time I saw it I was like meh lane wish to be stronger is such a cop out. But it does make sense. I think maybe if there was a different way than using a wish but somehow connecting with the dragon since as he is kami he created it. I think it feels lame from the concept of everyone was fighting over the dragon balls since forever, wishing for world domination never took place, wishes to become immortal also never took place, and now with the Z fighterZ protecting the world you think maybe becoming immortal would be a good wish? But either they are too proud or the dragon actually can’t grant that wish, but throughout the entire series you hear people talking about using the dragon for power and no one ever is able to. To have piccolo do it felt like cheating, like how goku felt he cheated to get to super saiyan god and didn’t like that it was a power he can’t reach on his own (but then it felt more deserved when he was able to tap into that power on his own) Like maybe it’s like Kami put his life force into making the dragon and now that they are no longer the guardians taking that back since the power of the dragon is now supported by dende And he gains his original power plus some because the dragon has become powerful over time (investing your power like investing stocks, and getting a nice return xD) Gohans was so random and idk I like gohan but either let him be a nerd who doesn’t care about fighting and sure he can have amazing potential but never be on everyone else’s level because that’s not who he is as a person, or have him love fighting but this whole I’m focused on being smart that I’m so oblivious to the world around me that I had no idea it was piccolo in a mask. But oh yeah I’ve been training in secret and am actually a beast too felt so meh.

It’s weird how people would accept Gohan still for ultimate after not doing anything for 7 years and being stronger than ssj3 goku but piccolo wishing for his potential unlocked ( and he’s always training btw ) to be looked at as bad. Also I agree with the Gohan thing. I like Gohan as a character but never cared for him to be the main character like people tell themselves. He’s supposed to be used as a bomb. Gohan is a explosion something very powerful but fades away he also isn’t a full saiyan like goku and vegeta.. he can fight and has great potential but it’s not his life. He doesn’t have a desire to train and only does when he’s told something is coming unlike the others who train to always better themselves, and yea him not sensing piccolo is crazy but most the plot of superhero makes them all look like idiots when you think about it

@@glasses_black yeah, maybe we will get a better version of the movie in the anime like with resurrection of F There was a lot I liked about the movie, but some of the plot was left much to be desired. I like your idea about having dende involved, especially since piccolo doesn’t really have that knowledge of his people, so it would be really interesting to have dende as the guardian of the earth to also become almost like a teacher of their heritage leading to a power up for piccolo. All things said a wish feels undeserved of a power up. The only “let’s power you up” I was okay with was the Kai one for gohan and there was a history of gohan having this latent potential and so it made sense. But piccolo has worked hard and pushed himself physically and mentally to be a better fighter

Yes gohan was told to us with having the latent potential but it seems as if that’s everytime we need him to be relevant. With cell it made sense, Ultimate form sure but it’s weird cuz he had power unlocked by guru and supreme Kai, how many times this kid needs to unlock Sum

I think they justify picollo and being weaker with the saiyan being the “fighting race” so they develop skills faster and become stronger faster. If Imperfect Cell tried to jump in and absorb 17 at the beginning of the fight like Scru said, he would've been jumped like he was joining a gang. Keep in mind the only reason Cell was even stronger than Piccolo after the fight was because he absorbed entire cities worth of people. It's not even like the fight he with piccolo gave him a zenkai boost either. Because just solar flared everyone and ran away.

Orange piccolo isn’t a demon form. He has the power of a god. Porunga is a god of wishes. Shenron was created by Kami. Piccolo is no longer a King Piccolo (although he kept the name) nor a god Kami. He is a completely new entity and earned the right of true Namekian Power from Shenron. Via the wish which he had his power awaken. The bonus Orange Piccolo was earned from his hard work and accepting his good and evil nature.

I hate to break it to you, but Piccolo was not even with Goku when they fought Raditz. Raditz even said himself that Goku's power level was slightly higher. And keep in mind, Goku trains more often and harder than Piccolo, so it makes sense for him to not catch up. Goku spent days training intense gravity on his way to Namek. Piccolo, on the other hand, almost got passed up by Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu because he refused to train with King Kai. Also, Piccolo's new form has nothing to do with demons and he doesn't have any horns. I don't know what you're looking at.

Yeah Orange Piccolo and Gohan Beast were both undeserved, in a sense. Piccolo was more undeserved than Gohan's but Gohan's was more ASS PULL to me because at least piccolo catching up to goku and vegeta made sense because of the fact that he wished his potential was unleashed and like he went from maybe ssj3 goku level to MAYBE ssjblue like that so galaxy to universal its bs sure but remember ultimate gohan? His power up brought him from slightly weaker to teen ssj2 gohan to stronger than super buu which was like going from solar system to like multi-solar system BUT beast gohan rivals goku and vegeta and possibly stronger? He went from multi-solar system TO LOW MULTIVERSAL (ultra instinct and ultra ego)? When his previous power ups did not give that much of a boost comparatively and he got it the same way as ssj2 which was being mad and ultimate gohan got his POTENTIAL UNLEASHED and power up still wasn't that big comparing to the recent transformation buff. Super saiyan to super saiyan 2 was only x2 strength like this is almost golden freeza level of ASS PULL. Also, nah sorry imperfect cell would have still won although it would be close

All due respect from a fan of your videos, but which Dragon Ball series did you watch? Piccolo has so many clutch moments throughout DBZ. He almost singlehandedly kept them in the fight with the Saiyans. Then he did it again on Namek with Freeza and fought alone to buy Goku time for the spirit bomb against Freeza’s final form. Dude would’ve killed Cell from the beginning if he didn’t run away from the first fight. Also, Piccolo is the strongest fighter at the time of this fight and is even with 17. However, there was also no way he and 17 would beat Cell. First, androids don’t get tired or run out of energy so only Piccolo was fatigued. Even then, if you remember, when Cell powered up, he had Piccolo shook. Even Goku was on the lookout sweating and wishing Vegeta would hurry out of the time chamber. Even at Piccolo’s full power, Cell had absorbed too many people for them to overcome him. Also, how does Piccolo beating Cell or 17 help the storyline? So many great moments would never happen if he wins here. You keep crying about him being hoed but Piccolo literally had great moments in every saga except Buu. And, lastly, Saiyans and Namekians are not on the same level when it comes to combat. Namekians have warrior clans but the Saiyans are literally a race of fighters. It’s in their blood. They get automatic power boosts just from fighting and getting merked. Being upset that Piccolo isn’t on Goku’s level (the main character of the show btw) is asinine. And ranting about it every single video isn’t going to change it.

akira hatin on everybody but Goku. mostly also cause japan is obsessed with goku. whenever he tried to make gohan the main character he received death threats etc. for example in the tournament of power they shouldve let piccolo fuse with the other nameks from the other universe. wouldve also been a loophole.
