So the show didn't do Angstroms reason for taking the helmet off justice. In the comics, he called them just to defend the machine and he couldn't send them away because he still needed their help. But they went rogue and he had no choice but to stop the process to save one of the ONLY good marks in the multiverse. As most of them are evil.

I'm ngl Scru I gotta disagree hard on that Multiverse tangent. Using Marvel Comics as an example; If Earth-616 Spider-Man, the main character the world's been reading about since the 60s died permanently, that would be a big deal. It wouldn't (or at least, shouldn't) matter if you brought in Earth-617 Spider-Man that's remotely the same, because the Peter Parker we knew and loved for decades is gone. The only time characters are killed off and replaced with their variants as if it were nothing is when it fits the particular series, like how the Loki series did this with the intention of Loki going back in time to undo the deaths. Point is, the Multiverse doesn't remove stakes. It doesn't matter if a character can be "replaced" with a variant because that variant simply isn't the same character you've potentially grown attached to.

Normally I’d say that I’m tired of the multiverse stuff because of the MCU but this is invincible so I trust that the writers are cooking up a good plot, I didn’t read the comics but apparently the multiverse was apart of the comics as well and people said that it was good.
