Very informative and crisp presentation as well. My husband and I have been reading your book and we are in the process of creating a diet plan. We are both in our 30s and obese. We have three kids and wish to be fitter to be able to spend quality time with them and also hope to be good role models in terms of lifestyle. As we are learning more about nutrition, we feel the urge to be more conscious about what we feed our kids. Unlike our childhood, when eating out was a luxury and junk food was not very common, kids today have way too many options and we are guilty of letting them have it their way. We are unable to find reliable sources for information when it comes to children. Could you also make a video on their nutritional requirement, ideal macro ratio and definition of light or moderate activity in children? We are not looking for any weight loss or gain. We are only looking for what would be a healthy balanced diet. Thank you so much for simplifying this. More power to you. Your honesty is visible in every video that I have watched.

Hi JC, wonderful episode. Quick question. You mentioned total calorie consumtion multiplied by 4 (check 10:27 min of the video). I didnt get that. Why are we multiplying it by 4?

For a 70kg individual, Liver glycogen + muscle glycogen +bloodstream can hold upto 600 gm of glucose. Multiply that by 4 calories, you get 2400 calories.

@@Fittrjcsir... agar 50%carbohydrates ,30%protien,20%fat agar yeh ratio sahi hai...agar koi insan 80 kg ka hai...toh uski maintenance calories 2400 banti hai(total)...jis mein protein fats carbs sab kuch include hai....but aapne is vedio mein bola ki around 2300 cal of glycogen store in body....or humari body ko 2300 cal ki jaroorat hoti hai....sir hum total hi 2300 cal le rahe hai....iska matlab humari body protein se bhi energy le Rahi hai...humara muscle mass loss ho raha hai?....toh sir humein 2300 cal glucose Leni chaiye....taki hum jo protein le rahe hai 130 gm....voh conserve rahe...or humari body carb se chalti rahe....kya yeh theory sahi hai?

Thanks sir, you are a knowledge house. I have just enrolled in TC21 as well and i am working on understanding every aspect of health in detail. I made my diet plan as per your guide provided.. my calorie intake as suggested by you is 1850. But if i am sticking to the low carb diet ratios, my protein intake is then 156 gm. My weight on scale is 103kg. Is that a problem? If i reduce my protein weight.. then from where else is it safe to Increase to maintain my caloric intake. P: 156gm carb :114 gm fat: 77gm this is the current breakdown. Should I change this?

Very informative video. Came to know about you in Richa's prog. Your honesty is commendable. May you achieve everything you desire for. I am 57 years old retired teacher. I used to be fit while working. Slowly I started gaining weight. My BMI was never above 25 but now it's 27.5. Can you please guide me about my diet? I am vegetarian. When people talk about health it's focussed on youngsters. I hope you keep our generation in mind also. I have recently joined a gym but clueless about my diet . God bless you.

Hello sir, Is it necessary to consume protein (especially whey) right after workout to prevent loss of muscles in catabolic state? Or will body take protein from our amino acid pool for recovery? Some study also say one must consume simple carb post workout for glycogen replenishment. Lots of confusion please clear what is the ideal way🙏
