Fufu is very common in most Ghanaian homes. it takes awhile to prepare and so most Ghanaian families will cook this Ghana food on Sundays when they are most likely off work.
In Ghana, fufu, also known as fufuo, its generally white and sticky if it made from just cassava. Other foods like plantain and cocoyam can be added and this will give it a different colour. The traditional method of eating fufu is to pinch some of the fufu off in one's right hand fingers and form it into an easily ingested round ball. The ball is then dipped in the soup before being eaten.

I never thought the name Timothy could be made so funny...LOL! And to just go to a funeral or wedding - OMG🤣🤣🤣🤣Light soup is very easy to make and one of my favorites. My husband has taught me how to make many Ghanaian dishes. The first time that I made fufu on my own, it took me 4 hours and my arms hurt for 2 days afterward! Great video...kept me smiling!

I'm going to try making the Ghanaian soup, but should it be that watery? Or always taught it be thick then dip the fufu in, not from an African countries but I've made plantains fufu using my blender and then mix it in a pot on the stove.

It’s hard to pound fufu when the plantain and the Cassava get cold, and then the fufu get cold too, you can pound it right after you remove it from the fire and it still comes out fine as you want it. Ghana sweet.

I just realized that washing our chicken in lime/lemon in the Caribbean is teaching that comes from Africa--are you able to tell the difference if the chicken is not washed in lime/lemon before cooking as we can in the Caribbean? I can't eat the chicken that has not been cleaned and washed that way, because I can smell the unpleasantness of the freshness otherwise

Queen, I made a delicious soup today but my mouth is watering for yours soup. mines is Palm soup with goat meat with skin, Cow feet, Lion Lamb chops , fish,and the Drum stick part of the wings. Do you know transferring the hot veggies into the blender is what destroys the blender. what you could do is to use the pot to grind them. The blender has a rubber seal which don't need hot stuff.
