Usually you are left a few generic plain biscuits in your hotel room for your tea or coffee, a Breakaway and ToffeeCrisp is next level.

My son once asked Alexa to add Haribos to the shopping list. Apparently, Alexa has not heard of Haribos because she added Hairy Balls to the shopping list

@@vtbn53 ... Haribo's are a German brand of confectionary or soft jellies usually branded for kids but adults love them too. They're very nice and moreish and sold in the UK and other countries I guess.

I tried unlocking my car, heard the unlocking noise it makes and everything. Used the manual key when the unlock button on the fob didn’t work. Turns out I was trying to get into the wrong car. It was the one next to it. Uncanny valley: the car I was trying to get into was same colour, make model and year. Only difference was the last 3 letters of the registration.

I drove to work as usual, but the company parking spaces were all taken, so I drove to the train station car park, where I had to pay. I left work at 5pm after a long, tiring day, didn’t see my car in the company parking lot, so decided I must have walked to work that morning. I walked home, about 15 minutes. When I got home of course my Corsa was not there, and I finally remembered I’d had to park at the station. Walked 20 minutes to the station. My car was nowhere to be seen. I walked around that car park three times, and no sign of my car. Panicking a bit I contacted the police to report it missing. I then walked home again, very upset and tired. My other half got home shortly after me and I told him all about my awful evening expecting him to console me, but he started to snicker. I. Was beside myself and asked him what he found so darned funny. He asked if I remembered that I had picked up a new car yesterday. 😂

I feel for the car guy. Reckon police get that surprisingly often. In fairness, some places are genuinely disorientating and some streets look exactly the same as others. Still, I can relate to the mortification he was feeling.

Great reaction dude. You got a very calm soothing voice. The car one, I totally done that. I parked my car in a public car park in a town called Manchester because I was visiting a friend and was in the city centre and dont have parking facilities. Anyway, the day after some heavy drinking I was a bit hungover and I needed to go and get my Samsung charger from my car as my mate had an apple. I spent a hour looking for this car park which should only have been 5mins away...everything kept looking the same, then I realised I was on the wrong direction when I parked my car and needed to go the opposite way. My brain must have programmed the place I was originally going to park before I decided where I actually parked. So yeah, God knows how I did that. So safe to say I had a pretty sober day after that and spent another night 😅

you know that bit with the toffeee crisp and breakaway i dont even know how it can be translated tbh. Its a mixture of mocking rich and poor at the same time. Like those chcolates are a slight step up from what youd normally find but hes joking like theyre shit but also saying something positive.

Acting like all we don't have, "the mug cupboard"! 😂 Plus all the overflow mugs that don't fit, and the ones in "the mug cupboard" only fit in one certain layout, otherwise all the handles get in the way and the door doesn't shut. 😂 But yeah, I'm sure the pint glasses would sell well too 😅 They can go in the "stolen pub glasses" section of "the mug cupboard" hahaha 😂

Here in Scotland, we swear as often as we breathe. Not everyone does, though, but generally we do. My niece is one of the few who doesn't. I think it might be because she spends a lot of time online with teens her age from other countries, the US, England, Brazil, etc. But her two younger brothers, 11 and 13, swear like the best of them. Especially the 11-year-old. Funny thing is, they both look like the other's age. The 13-year-old is tiny, and the 11-year-old is well over five foot tall.
