I'm not up for it yet, but at some point in the future I definitely wanna get into learning how to run this. JK2 was my childhood and it's one of very few games I know inside and out (not quite as well as speedrunners but watching dozens of speedruns has taught me a lot). I just need to be ready to put the time in to learn strafe jumping and all the muscle memory. I love watching every new WR that comes out though. This game is so fun to watch.

Great tutorial for a great game and a great community :) Note for beginners : if you struck a bit on a move and smash says "it's pretty easy", don't worry, everything is easy for smash. My advice would be to watch Lando's pretty face till you feel better.

im not sure what trick you are talking about, but this tutorial is aimed for beginners. i chose to not include quite a few strats due to difficulty

Saber skip is a very difficult skip for beginners because of how precise it is on your placement when the pillar ascends it has a finicky death barrier for Kyle

I am not familiar with speedruns. Using so many keybinded console commands doesn't count as cheating?

no, none of the commands used are cheat protected (none use helpusobi 1, which enables cheats) all commands that are bound can be achieved organically some way or another (vid_restart happens when you change from windowed to fullscreen, so the same effect could be achieved without having a bind. soundstop, or a similar effect, occurs when the blade of the.saber interacts with any surface). It's all basically just quality of life binds that don't effect the run positively or negatively.
