Ben the doors look nice and better than that they seem very functional. I believe I would leave them black for a while just to get a feeling then you can always paint them later. Cut and paint some cardboard and stick them in your inserts just to see what they look like

2 option's for doors when it comes to painting the doors. 1) go get you some body wrap material and try different options for trail door or inner or both. Or 2) buy some plasti-dip and try it. Low cost ways to see what you like then you can spring for actually painting them.

I like the sound of how solid they close. I’m just not sure I like how the insert panel looks. I wonder what they would look like paint matched? Are you planning on painting them or keeping them black?

Body match red to “waistline” where meets the window inserts (leave black). Alternatively paint the door inserts alone so trail door is black (easy to repair or replace) but the color inserts make it look more “custom” instead of generic. BTW - second set of keys now for the door?? Reminiscent of 1980s GM vehicles with door key and ignition key.

Do u have a parts list for ur build there somewhere? I'm about to go from stock on my JL Rubicon to the EVO 2.5 lift and combo that with the Falcon 3.3 shocks (better value for now, coilovers later) and I'm curious what inner fender liners you're running that are compatible with those shocks. Ben those doors look amazing, yes they could use a bit of color perhaps just the inserts... Wondering if you could use some colored paper from a crafting store to get a feel for what the inserts would look like in red. Or you could go “retro” with wood grain panels but then you’d need “fine Corinthian leather” seats and fake wire spoke wheels 😜

I ordered the Core Doors with the upper windows and the door won’t close with the half window. Did you have that problem and did you have to do any adjusting to get them to fit right?

I have the same set up only i painted the doorz, closes fine, untill i putnin the twill upper, the gasker preventz door from closing inhad to remove some of thr rubber. Have to push extra jard to get the second click of the latch?! Did u have that issue, im 2018 jk. Also, all the plugging u did bestop shoukd give u a set for free

You should paint the corner armor, the b-pillars, and the little spot in between the rear doors and the rear fenders matter black so it’s black all the way down
