@JL Audio Kevin, thanks for this video! NO ONE ever explains the differences between these crossover types! 👍👍 And I think that these short "Quick Tip" videos are really helpful in general. Would love to see more! I came over from the Instagram Holiday Giveaway post, but have watched and commented on quite a few of these videos, during the livestreams as well. It's nice to have a company that has such great after-sales support and training. That is RARE these days! Good stuff! I guess I need more knowledge on tuning to really understand the difference each would make and why you would use one over another. What type of crossover does your HD 900/5 use? I have that amp.

That was very clear. Graphics will always be better than just words! It’d be great having another video only on the acoustic behavior of Linkwitz-Riley vs. Butterworth filters, and which might be better between midrange and tweeter, for instance depending on speaker locations and how far apart the mid and tweeter are in the vehicle. 2020 JL Áudio giveaway FTW too!

Hi, good morning JL AUDIO. I have a question, Can I install a fix 86 in my car with out CD? And what remote control is the correct for fix 86, DRC-205 or DRC-200??

Yes you can down load the Fix calibration CD from JL's web site and put it on a jump drive.

So im guessing you CANT use 2 TWK88s with 1 DRC-100 knob? I asked this in different forums, on Facebook, instagram and even emailed JL Audio with Zero Reply, i give up. 😅

8 channels isn't enough? From my experience the answer is no. maybe with the DRC-205 and the VXi hub but I'm not sure its compatible with the TWK's

@James Elam weird that I never knew that you left a reply a year later, to answer this question, 8 channels is NOT enough for me specially for a full Active 13 channel set up with front and rear separation. As for the VXI hub, yeah unfortunately it doesn't work with the TWK88. 🥺 but the VXi amps are pretty much the way to go if you get the C7 speakers.
