JL Design Custom Keyboard Cases

Make it from 1/2" plywood and cover in tolex, and you can get the cost down significantly. Probably around $150 in materials that way.

Love it! It has to be heavy though..I wonder what the weight of that particular case in the video is.

I've used one before, it was easy to carry. It was the newer model with aluminum substitutes. It was around 40 lbs I think.

Should customized cabinets be designed to allow a laptop to seat above the keyboard- to allow the player to access tutorials and karaoke on line while playing the piano?

Yes. Or, you know, for electronic musicians using MIDI keyboard controllers.

Great idea, but no. Gonna have to make it more affordable. A consumer version made out of polyfrugaline of some sort

Looks nice and all, but i will never spend so much on such a fancy case just to see it all scratched and worn out after a couple of gigs, looks something more of a studio furniture.

Most keyboard players are not going to pay just as much or more for a keyboard stand as they pay for their keyboard. I don’t see the value in this.
