JLB CHEETAH WITH NEW MONSTER TIRE UPGRADE! RC MUSTSEE

A reveal of my new 4" wide tires on the JLB Cheetah. They rip! Fantastic upgrade. Duratrax "six pack mt"- listed as 3.8" mounted w/a 1/2" offset.

Holy cow. Those are huge lol. Monster truck. I cracked my front bumper today. Cracked it right where it goes into the lower part of the chassis. Order me a replacement. I guess all the kart wheels added up to that. Man does my cheetah go through batteries. I play in full speed and i get about 10 minutes out of the batteries lol. Ordered me some turn buckles too👍 thanks to your advice, i might need them. The stock tires on the cheetah are fine so far for me. But those ones you got will be on my lost for the future. Thanks bud! i was shocked by the size of this meaty claws! not only does it offer better traction but the truck is more stable in the rough stuff due to the wider track. sorry to hear about your bumper, you can see mine is taking a beating too. if your not breaking it, your not really driving it!! haha. get a battery with a higher mah rating OR get a second 4000mah 3s and carry that as a spare. this way you won't have a big heavy battery in the car. rc mustsee Yea those threads look meaty. I ordered the exact same battery the truck comes with. So i have two. I guess i love the speed so much i find myself mashing it all the time. Man does this thing fly. I ordered a 3rd battery aswell so maybe now i can play for more than 30 minutes lol. I will order these tires when i decide to upgrade. The truck is outta control unstable. But with the width of those tires you have, looks to be well planted. This truck can take a beating mine must of kart wheeled more than 50 times to break the bumper. Heavy duty strong built rc i never regret my decision.

3.8 refers to the wheel size . So you can fit any 3.8 or 40 series xl tires to any 3.8 wheel . Rc4wd likes to lie and say that their 40 series xl tires only fit their expensive metal bead lock wheels but not true i have 40 series rc4wd tires mounted on stock ten dollar Traxxas summit 3.8 wheels and a set of stock 3.8 kraton wheels. I see you got same tiers I ran into on search engine, and when I opened the box I just oh shit! Return time! But I put one on then another and said hmmmm? And it ran like a bat out of hell. Also I replaced the steering servo along with a cooling fan for the motor now it's hell on wheels. I ended up taking them due to over heating shut downs

The JLB cheetah NEEDs some buggy or rock crawler wheels.. not those massive one from factory.. It doesnt handle or grip the ground better with big ass wheels lol *Just add some buggy wheels and ull see the diff guys.. no more rolling over and less weight on ur servo made it smoother to run..

Theres no need to change the pinion on the cheetah even on 4s.. I wish u cld check my vids but thr on pvt for some reason.. Just dont change the pinion - NO NEED for it.. unless u put a 2000kv then i understand

I have overheating problem with 3.8 tyres like yours. The motor and the esc are very hot . Be aware about those tyres . I am trying to find out a solution about overheating. I bought a cooling fan but still not delivered to me. How to avoid overheating? Do you have any ideas

My stock wheel fell off, and I cannot for the life of me get it to fit back on. Any tips? I've tried heating, cooling, and grease but the ball thingy won't fit in the hole on the wheel. Thanks

are you saying the ball popped out of its home on the hub?if you press it in hard enough it should pop in place. join the jlb cheetah fb enthusiast page and ask all those guys. you can post a pic and get the help of many fellow cheetah owners. good luck!

mine were catching the very ends of the front bumper. not enough to slow it down but it was making a noise. i just clipped the ends off and that fixed it. if you have serious rubbing you either got the wrong offset tires or you just need to raise the body up a bit.

Put a set of stock X-Maxx tires on an Arrma Granite 3s THEN you get good grip. Its silly looking though but it works. Of course you need the 12mm hex then the 12-17mm adapters from hot racing also I would never run it all the time like that

Derek Quinones I'm not sure, a lot of the time there are other factors that determine fit. most of the time I have found manufactures do small things that are unique to their products and can affect fit. I have found that out the hard way! if you want good tires for off road bashing just get proline badlands! they change the car.

just us your thumb, press on the hub and pull on the wheel. it will come off if you have taken the nut off. good luck!

They are 1/10 scale universal I'm in the process of breaking it down now.

And they are not direct fit I had to get larger inset screws for the pillow ball mounts on the control arms and had to get a o ring bushing style for the coupler because these are for the e revo and the parts are a lil bigger but so far so good

On the snow in cool climate it has the sense. On the beach engine melt i think.. maybe with a fan on it is possible maintain lower temperature.. ??

The largest can that will fit is a 3670. May want to loosen the slipper as well. After I went with badlands, I sheared the pinion shaft going into rear diff.
