Where I grew up there was nothing like going to a New York diner. The mom-and-pop breakfast eateries, are the best little hidden jewels, tucked away in wonderful neighborhoods. The Melting Pot of the world, surrounded by people we treasure and respect. Thank you JL for all that you do for us. ❤🙏

My husband and I are in Philly on a winter vacation and we took your suggestion and dined here this morning! My husband had the Fish Scrapple and loved it! My eggs, bacon and home fries with peppers and onions was delicious!! We loved the hospitality, cleanliness, warm feeling with all the memorabilia and from a coffee drinker who drinks it straight up, delicious! We will definitely be back next time we are in town! Thanks JL for the find! The server said you are a great guy!

As ol' skool/classic as the vibe is in there. Am I wrong in saying they bring their own original flavor to the table? Literally. The fish scrapple with the pretty egg on top with their own patented "comeback" sauce seems totally intriguing. The biscuits stand the HECK out v.s a traditional/southern one. & they offer that strawberry jelly. Def got thier own signature on breakfast that I would love to try.

Seranaded by the splendid sound of suave jazz simultaneously with eclectic Philadelphia cinematography at the impetus of the video is phenomenal. However- that fried scrapple, eggs, home fries, and biscuits [ Need grape jelly, butter, or syrup.] looks delectable, fresh, quality. And- the milieu looks cozy and homely with an authentic Philadelphia vibe. Got to try Sulimay Diner's foods ascap!
