usually you need to dice it, cook it with butterfly. After cooked, removed butterfly then blend it. I have no idea what kind of texture you are looking at. If you want it with chunks, you will have to take up half of the portion before blend.

Could you please tell me why your lid is very easy to open and close with 1 hand! My one is hard to open and close. I want to let me mum use it but maybe hard for her to open...

I have no idea why, may be is due to the silicone seal ring, the old version of ring somehow is easier, not until they upgrade the seal to thinker and better quality.
