That T-Pudz meetup challenge gave me fits. It kept recognizing my back lip as a boardslide once I would get 80% across the ledge for some reason, even when I was holding it steady without turning at all. Eventually it did recognize it thankfully. Those Samarria challenges are brutal too

The Samarria challenges was by far my least favorite, instead of adding to the fun they sucked all fun out of virtual skateboarding for me haha

I struggle a bit with consistencty so lines are harder for me. But those from Antifergs and Samaria could have been way 'easier' if they'd clip the whole line, not discover where to go on the run. Spots selection has some flow tho

I hope they'll fix the tricks to register more correctly. I'm not as good as you so I fail a lot (which is fun to me, I like trying hard til I get it), but when I finally get it and it doesn't register it's just frustrating. So thanks for your videos which are not only entertaining but helping me out a lot :)

I believe the EXP cap is 13775 if you've done all of the challenges. Though there are also some hidden phone booth challenges that just give you money and no EXP, so tough to really track if you've done them all.

I really hope they figure out trick tracking in future updates. Really cool to see some of the lines the game attempts to make you do. I like the idea of the story mode. It gives you a reason to try different aspects of the game (double flips, directional pop for double grinds, darkslides, caspers and such) and get good, but it's just as polished as the actual skating itself and that's a shame because it means you can get away with bad tricks or in some instances not even doing what's intended

A modder made that for Session looong ago (called RMS tool) it’s great being able to set your own NPCs around either walking, sitting, talking on phone, talking to eachother, filming with camera or their phone.. so many options. was hoping the devs would add something like that to the base game, but not yet :(

Crazy how your videos are just the missions I just did. Some challenges I made harder than they should be because I wanted realistic lines instead of the same easy tricks to bypass the mission lol

I forgot about doing cool lines a long time ago. I just complete the missions with the minimum requirements. Even with the easiest way, the game sometimes just doesn't let you win...

You can boost your In Air Board Orientation in the advanced settings to help get that body rotation faster. Alternative is to also use the trigger to turn your body a bit more to get into noseslide

This is off topic, but: Where do you find the boards and gear you’ve purchased at the skate shop? I just recently got this for PS5, and after buying stuff and seeing it go into my “inventory”, I don’t know where to find the deck graphics I’ve purchased, and I have to keep buying deck graphics to change my board. What’s the point of buying things for your inventory when you can’t go pick them and use them? What am I missing here?

Assuming for the switch Treflip lipslide. When you scoop and flick the switch Tre, Let go of the input completely after you flick before you reinput to do the lipslide. It had to be a Fs lipslide too.

Hey JL, I didn’t activate manual catch until I finished the first tutorial, can I still get the that’s how it’s done achievement? Or do I need to start over?

You need to have manual catch set Before your character is created. So make sure you are set to Manual catch now, then go to the apartment and create a whole new skater. Complete the story with that new skater with manual catch on at all times and you should be good

Once you play from the 1st missions to the emb jam on manual catch and don't turn I off in behind you'll get it.. on my first playthrough I did every missions on manual catch but turn on auto catch while I was free skating and it did give me the achievement. So all in all do not turn off the manual catch once you have every main story missions done

Most people have reported that if you started your character on Auto catch (even if you changed to Manual catch before doing the first mission) that the trophy didn’t pop up. So be prepared to do the story again :p

That’s weird cause you get a really high score on Philly jam just by doing Ollie’s the entire 60 seconds… 🤔 maybe try switch Ollie and some nollies and 180? Just don’t get off your board or respawn and you’ll be fine

That’s a thing with the engine they use, nothing you or Creā-ture can do about it without making the game look much worse. So it’s something we have to live with right now

Bro help me man my game glitched on the 90 nostalgia mission sf local you need to move a bench and flip in flip out grind 3 times,the bench glitched and is in the sky and I cannot move it so the mission is not possible ,can I still get the turn pro on manual catch without doing that glitched mission?

You do not need that mission to complete the story. Also, keep in mind the trophy won’t pop up if your skater had Auto Catch set at Any point (so if you created skater and then changed to manual catch, won’t work). The way it works is you set to manual catch, then go to the apartment and create a new skater and use that skater for the story

It is annoying that they don't explain sometimes exactly what you need to do like having exposure or tricks not reading properly but hopefully its stuff they fix in the future and a throw down feature but apart from that and some small bugs from time to time it's still the best skateboarding game out there for the newer generation consoles once you get the hang of the controls your hooked!!!

How do you unlock all clothes and boards?

They are pretty much all supposed to be unlocked from the start. If almost EVERYTHING is locked for you, you’ve encountered a bug.. Here's how to fix it: Close the game, then go to this location in file explorer: %localappdata%\sessionGame\Saved\SaveGames *Copy and paste that location in the top Left bar of the File explorer, NOT the Search bar* Delete the PlayerInventorySaveSlot.sav file thats located in there. Load up session and you're good to go (your money will be reset but you’ll keep your story progress)

surprised it was so forgiving for tricking over the poles on the last samaria mission for you, my game was being super sensitive about registering it. also refused to register any darkslides for torey's second last mission for some reason

You got to be kidding me, I spent hours on the EMB jam, and your telling me that all you have to do is switch ollie. I was pulling out nollie inward 360 heel 360s and crazy switch tricks, and I was only getting 4.0 every time. How dose the scoring actually work in the game? and is there a website that has a list of every mission in every location?

The EMB jam is just honestly impossible without the switch Ollie cheese it seems.. highest I could score was 4.8 with a switch 360 flip to tailslide. Few random other tricks to pass time without falling and the AI here scoring 9.0 by doing a switch kick 180 over some barrels.. okay sure lol

Depends on your input settings. Since I’m on manual catch and have my flip input set to Speed, I just flick fast. If you’re on Auto catch you’ll need to make sure Continuous Flip is turned on, then you’ll hold the flip input to keep the board flipping. If you’re struggling to get it on flat, you can boost your flip speed in the advanced settings
