HI Yiannis.... Model numbers don't mean much to me. The manual only breaks down to the manufacturer. Is Funai listed among the manufacturers in the code list?

I am sorry for this mistake, because correct is "NVTC RM-014S+". But, I think that, through your searching, the eg Google results or any other search machine, would give you the correct one. I am disappointed, and a little bit distressful for not being 100% sure for this pair NVTC-FUNAI. It's not your fault, or any other's. We cannot find in WHOLE web this control's manual to be 100% sure that this is for Funai. As you can understand, I cannot proceed to purchase, if I am 100% sure for this pairing. Seller, here that I found it in a very good price, if pair does not work, will not give me money back. e.g. Could you upload in an answer the link codes? Thanks!

HI, those were the only codes I found for the Funai brand. The model number doesn't help at all. They only break down the codes per the brand, not the model number. This is the same thing with any universal remote, they aren't model specific.

Have you tried all the codes for your TV? Also if it's a smart TV, there's probably going to be some functions that won't work.

The only other thing you might try is the auto code search.. Sometimes that'll hit on a code that works better..

@@carlablack4728 I'm not sure how that remote programs. IF it uses codes, then sometimes a code will only partially work. If there's more codes, always try another code to see if it'll work any better than the one you're having trouble with. If that remote is a learning remote, you should be able to teach it the missing functions.

This has always worked for me until I got a new Sanyo/Roku Smart TV. I go through this process and the TV shuts off, however I have to go to the TV remote to turn it back on. I guess I am going to have to use two remotes. Any ideas on how to make this work.

You probably have to press shift/ mode first and then use the aspect button. If that doesn't work, I've found that usually the aspect ratio is controlled from within the TVs menu settings.

Hmmm.. by using the codes in the manual for spectrum? Did you see how I put codes in for a TV? You would use the same procedure but sub out my codes and device for the spectrum box..

Usually if you get into the menu for the TV, there should be something listed there called Zoom or something like that..

I don't know if anyone's going to see this but I figured out how to program the arrow keys to the TV hold keys ok/select + CBL till the CBL key lights up then press the menu key and then press the TV key and you are all ready to go!

HI, the remote doesn't care if you're using over the air or cable. The channel up/ down buttons will work the same. You do need to go into your menu and make sure the TV is in Air mode and not cable.

@@RealDanielWhite I worded it wrong. I meant the smart TV part of the original remote. You need a remote that can be taught using the original remote so that you can transfer the smart features like direct access to Netflix to the universal remote, they just might be on a button that's labeled something else.

Do you know how I can default the OK and side and up arrow buttons default to TV mode. Right now, it defaults always to cable mode. The menu button should work the TV menu when the remote is in TV mode. If your accessing apps is that a smart TV? I don't believe this will access the apps on a smart tv.
