Massive bit of trivia (involving real-life death!) about this film, but first: The lead actor's name is Daniel Green, and Jason's absolutely right - he was indeed in American Rickshaw. So, the fatality. A helicopter used during filming in Arizona flew too close to the underside of a bridge, causing the rotor blades to hit it and break off, leaving the body of the chopper to plummet to the ground below. Both the pilot and star Claudio Cassinelli died, and the pilot's body was never recovered. A bottle of Ionamin (a prescription diet pill) was found in the pilot's hotel room, but it's not confirmed whether that played a part since, as I say, they never found his body to test. John Saxon (who's also in this) was a sticker for following the rules of the Screen Actor's Guild, and since this was not a union film, refused to film any scenes in the US. He has since stated that this almost certainly saved his life - since the helicopter crash happened in the US, he would probably have been on it had he not been sticking to the SAG rules. The only helicopter scenes he shot were in Italy (check the registration on the chopper - it differs depending on where the scene was shot).

Back when I was watching good bad films with my gang in college, Italian ripoff movies were a staple of ours. They have a certain "something" that makes them extra hilarious. With George Eastman, the first arm wrestler, who beats “Paco” while hanging from the chain, playing a very odd role. He was also in the Barbarias, with the brothers, and wrote on a lot of stuff. He’s done Emanuel’s movies, horror, pron, Sci Fi and Spaghetti westerns in the 60’s. Probably other actors from that movie in this one, but he’s the one I recognize immediately in everything.

The “rocket” on the end of the shotgun was an unconvincing mockup of a rifle grenade, a weapon powered by a blank cartridge in the gun. BTW: @Jason Brant the yellow, brown & white helicopter toward the end is a Bell 206 JetRanger, if you’re familiar with it take a look at in just how many movies from the 1970’s to the 2000’s the helicopter or at least 1 of the helicopters is a JetRanger, it’s amazing. Great video, thanks.

Don't know about doing that with a shotgun, but when I was in the army we had a special kind of grenade that looked exactly like a rocket, and you would attach it at the end of the barrel of the G3A3 rifle exactly like the dude does in this movie with the shotgun. And to fire it you would actually put blank rounds in the rifle, and the gas from the blank would propel the grenade.

From IMDB…Co-star Claudio Cassinelli died in a helicopter crash on July 12, 1985, during filming in Arizona. According to the National Transportation Safety Board report, the rotor blades of the Bell 206-B struck the underside of a steel bridge and broke off, causing the aircraft to plummet into the canyon below, killing Cassinelli and the pilot. The crash was officially attributed to inattention and poor judgment by the pilot. The NTSB report notes that a bottle of the prescription diet pill Ionamin (phentermine) was found in the pilot's hotel room, and that this drug may cause errors in judgment, but his actual use of the drug could not be verified because his body was never recovered.

2:14 Those two dorks with the rifles. One guy has his finger on the trigger & the other dork has both hands on the forend like he's holding a piece of fencepost. You can tell they're super experienced with guns. One guy will accidentally shoot you and the other guy will never be able to fire his rifle.

Jason, you are right. That picture was a pro wrestler who was called the one man gang or Akeem depending on where you saw him first. And I noticed another pro wrestler on that wall too Hill Billy Jim.

I guess “kiss the wiener” is gong to another household phrase with SBIG. Also I love it when a movie breaks Erin. She has done the HRRRR sound so long, it’s become part of her laugh when she loses it! Cheers guys!

Polish man here. I confirm that in fact "gacie" means underwear in polish. It's prenounced more or les like "got'ya". For this awesome polish reference with the power given to me by pierogi and vodka, I hereby, solemnly reward you with honorary polish citizenship. This will automatically make you more resistant to alcohol and Brian won't stutter so much adter a 10% brewsky. :D

I gotta say, the lack of punctuation in the title gave me a completely different expectation for this movie. Still amazing.
