The C-klasse with a V8 what a nice combination
this small light car with a powerfull V8 and still a full interior
for 5 people and a trunk
this car has a normal apsirated v8 so no turbo's or compressors
this car came after the c32 what is a v6 kompressor and the v8 has about the same powerlevel and perfromance
this is in my opinion a better car because less parts that can go wrong. this engine transmission package was already 7 years in production when it came in the c55 so it is fully tested in several models .
So this is really a car with good performance with very low running cost for maintenance.
if your looking for a AMG this is the best second hand model to go for. also for higher mileage models. it is just a easy car. big displacement in a light car will give you much fun
this car is capable of doing 5.2 sec to 100klm and when there is no speed limiter on 250kph it will go over 280kph
what i really like about this models that the are full of luxury and comfort but still are not showing a lot on the outside .
it is not to much show.

It should do 18s to 200 and it does 26, something's wrong, and the check engine is on

Check engine was battery was bad i did a Reading before TestDrive

I'm really liking the AMG car testdrives you do. You get a good understanding of how the car is to drive. Wich one do you like best of the C55 or the E55 w210 ?

I don't know really i like them both. But looking to pricing i go for a e55 pure because the are cheaper

Chose my C55 AMG because it wasn't supercharged, doesn't have SBC or Airmatic suspension, etc. I'm not 100% positive about the E55, but I chose the C55 because it is much less complex, cheaper to fix/maintain, more reliable, and not all that much slower (because it's lighter, it doesn't need the supercharger). Plus, there are only 1700 of these in all of North America (probably much fewer now), which makes it rare.

He was referring to the w210 E55 AMG not the W211, which is quite unreliable, but one hell of a fast car. I'd say the C55 is a bit more reliable than the w210 E55.

I am looking to purchase a 2005 c55 for for $6k with roughly 150,000 miles. Is there any issues i should be worried about with this model with these miles?

Head gaskets leaking...replace suspension bushings. Spark plugs. Check you Crank position sensor...ignition motor. Engine mounts...suspension mounts... And just basic leaking stuff..thats it. Oil changes super important

0-100 around high 6 seconds... and If I am correct, it came from Japan.. so KM and so on , is a problem, but looks good.. just 0-100 not as good as it should be

The E55 AMG had the same engine with Kompressor, can be done. Otherwise buy the C32 with the V6 Kompressor engine, it's easier to modify...
