I’m 29, probably 30th in Korean age 😅 so I wanna say I appreciated this episode very much. The part when Claudine talked about her ex-friend really got me. I when through a similar situation last year and spent almost 7 months to heal from it, and I thought I was being weird for feeling the way I felt. I cried the first time I saw her personally, almost 5 months after our separation, and couldn’t exactly explain why. That experience took me through a journey to know myself better, and now, I can speak out my boundaries without being harsh, and that was possible because I know now, what bothers me, what doesn’t, what I can live with, and without. Thank you Joan for this series ❤️

I relate to Claudine sooo much. I'm also really bad at saying no and working on this right now. I also went through friendship breakups. Those were people that I knew for a long time but it either became toxic or we just weren't compatible anymore. Learning to accept that is really tough. 12:00 relatable. a buddy i grew up with started to really become entrenched in some pretty extreme beliefs over the course of about 4 years, and it led to a lot of arguments between he and i. around here we're brought up with a certain reverence and care for our environment and the people around us, especially our elders, and his new beliefs were an abandonment of that, which became hard for me and some others to reconcile. his wife suffered the most. i haven't heard from him since january 6th 2021, and i guess he did me the favor of not having to break up with him as a friend. his life is fine from what i hear, but it's sad seeing what spending too much time on the internet did to him.

(1) Mucho congrats on another interesting episode, Joan! I think Claudine will turn out to be one of the most thoughtful and well-spoken guests that you will ever have. (2) I would be curious to wear a heart-rate monitor myself just to see the results after watching Joan model some fashion hauls! 😂 (3) I love when Joan uses coarse language!
