Joan, I've been following your youtube channel since 2016. It's been amazing to witness your growth as a person through your vlogs, which I used to watch religiously back when I lived in Korea too. I would talk about you allll the time to my friends because you really helped me to transition into Korea lol. JOAN! Happy 2024, and all is right again in the world with a new Joan upload. So happy to see you back with Ashley and am so excited for this new series!! Now that I'm in my mid 20s, I'm kind of in the middle of enjoying the ride and feeling super pressurised about what kind of life I'm gonna be leading 5+ years later....thank you for "speaking for the people"! That part made me crack up so much because I relate to what you said 10000% and have had all the same feelings you did i.e. consulting jobs even though I'm in a differernt field - but serious props to Ashley for being so chill about it because this stress is so not worth it sometimes. But you've really made such an amazing life for yourself (I hope you feel the same), and my main motivation in life is always to live life amazingly like you have Joan. 365 and joanday are my eternal guides, and its totally understandable that you feel burnout after doing the absolute most back then. It was also so refreshing to hear Ashley’s view about your 20s and motivation for 30s - I think Ashley is really such an amazing person to hear from, looking forward to the next part of this video - and series ! I hope you both are doing well

(1) First of all, Joan, congratulations on what promises to be an interesting and helpful new series. You and Ashley kicked things off here in a very nice manner, indeed! (2) Ashley is supposedly good with dates but didn't know that bit about 2020. So, so much for that theory! 😂 (3) Ashley seems to be concerned about her videos staying the same, but this viewer has seen such a steady improvement in both content and quality in her KZbin product over the years. She needn't be concerned about being stagnant. (4) Similarly, you, Joan, shouldn't worry about running out of ideas. You are such a charming presence that you can literally film anything and it will be watchable. I seem to recall being entertained by one of your videos in which you literally just read a book for 20 minutes. That's charisma! You can't buy it or fake it! (5) Ashley is absolutely correct: Wear whatever you want...what makes you happy. The cool people don't care what the others think; they do their own thing! (6) Joan, it's hard to believe that you only feel attractive and motivated four days a month. In my 5+ years of watching, I've never seen you not being superperky or less than beautiful! (7) As a person who WISHES that he were in his 30s again, I'd say enjoy this decade, try not to stress, and take those chances. The clock is always ticking, but you're still younger than you think. (8) Looking forward to episode #2!
