You are right :) but in her defense I understand were she is coming from. Kristian says something without thinking something not to harmful in a normal situation. But because of past experiences with trolls on the internet Roxy knows this comment will haunt her. For Kristian it's one moment and gone for Roxy it's people trolling her with new ammunition. But the damage was done and nothing she can do to change it, she is hoping Kristian will quickly help her out and say sorry it's not true. But as a normal 40 year old dude he has no clue why she is making a big deal out of it. If we only lived in a world without internet trolls, life would be easier for us all.

People think Joaquin is a method actor because of his often intense personality, but he's not. He was not the Joker/Arthur at all times on set. Between takes he was Joaquin and had normal light hearted conversations with the director and crew. So, while he may not play Joker again, it won't be because he can't "go there" emotionally or something. He shakes off roles almost instantly and he's said this in a few interviews for Joker. It wasn't hard psychologically for him to play the role.

To Riley, Roxy's Spectacles comment does have a movie, it's Nuns on the Run late 80 early 90's British comedy with Robbie Coltrane and a Python, two crooks hide out in drag at Nunery. very funny, he reminds them how to cross them selves by saying Spectacles , Testicles, wallet and watch.
@nwredneckturner15085 жыл бұрын
That may be the first time in a movie, but 'Spectacles, testicles, wallet, watch' is much older than that. I remember hearing that in the early 70's.

Oh no doubt it was used before the film, I'm sure I heard an Irish comic say it Dave Allen? a big 70's star, as well the general public saying it.

There is a way to do a sequel of the Joker that would be a different take on the concept of a sequel. If you have seen the Joker then you know that it's filmed in a way that even by the end of the film you really don't know what of the story was real, it could be that none of it was. So a sequel could be a completely different story of the possible origin of the Joker with Phoenix again staring as the lead. You could set it in a different time period, you can do a different take on the Joker look, hell Phoenix could do a whole different personality take on the Joker. That way the Joker can still be this mysterious character.

You cant sit there and think female representation is weak in hollywood and not know or maybe care about a female lead hollywood franchise at the same time. Thats hypocritical
