There's no right and wrong here! it all depends on what you want Chartered accountant is a more routine job, less continuous learning is needed so it has less headache SAP Consulting you need to keep learning forever, there's no routine at all, and it's always very hectic, every project is a new story There're too many differences! There are many ABAP consultants who switched to functional, your ABAP experience will help a lot. first choose the module you want, then how you proceed depends on your situation: if you're in an SAP partner, start helping with the module and building good relations with the team and move smartly to work with them, and if you're in a customer company then start helping with the tickets of the module and so on.
