@@Nina1800 Believe it or not, this was my first movie since Rio 2. The only movies that I've watched with Anne Hathaway are her early roles, family friendly roles like The Princess Diaries, Ella Enchanted and what I previously said earlier, Rio, and this was like her first mature role that I saw. Like her character, Solène, I got the chance to fall in love with Anne Hathaway again. I've enjoyed watching Nicholas in RW&RB and Bottoms, but The Idea of You is where I fell in love with Nicholas Galitzine with all my ❤️! 🥰🥹🥰🥹🥰

Married my HS sweetheart after 21 years. We talked on the phone a few times over that time, but never the right time. Then lost touch. We hadn't physically seen each other during the entire 21 years. I was in Oregon, she was in Texas. Out of the blue I received a card from her that took a bit a trip around the country finding me. Within a few weeks running up the phone bill at night we finally realized that we should be together. I flew down on 20 Aug 1996 with it arranged to get married in her parent's living room on the 24th of August. We celebrated 27 years this past August. It was a tough and learning journey for both of us. Kind of like we had to learn things the hard way to appreciate what it really means.

The song Nicholas Galitzine (Hayes) is playing and singing in this clip on the Graham Norton show is called "Go Rogue." It's on the original motion picture soundtrack for The Idea of You, and is sung by Nicholas Galitzine. The song "Light On" by Maggie Rogers referred to by @keatsshelleykeats is the theme song that opens the movie, and it is not on the soundtrack.

Only know some of the shorts, but why the 5yr gap? Seems like such a waste.
@myran7883 ай бұрын
It was for the sake of Anne’s character’s daughter. She couldn’t take the fame that was brought into their lives from her mum dating a superstar. So the 5 year break was his idea (to have some hope instead of a breakup.), cause then the daughter would be an adult and off to university (if I remember that correctly)..
