Her body is definitely aged, so it makes full sense that she would feel less than young women

Yeah I think this would’ve played a lot better if they hadn’t chosen a beautiful woman who looks so comparable in age to the other actresses. Anne Hathaway is in her 40s but a woman who LOOKS like she’s in her 40s would’ve been much more of a contrast (and more convincingly scandalous)

okay this is relatable. I am 30 and young people have soooo much more freedom now. When I was in my early 20s phones were something we earned rather than given. So we didnt have the technology or ability to travel so freely (you get insane tickets online now) and they have their own house? Maybe it is bc I live in NY however no one I know owns a home we live in apartments and it isnt la de da like younger people have where they upload a tik tok and pay a year of mortgage

understandable. she saw her bathing suit as a lesser - than the skimpy bikinis. she did what she did for her bathing suit to not be compared to the other girls' skimpiness. she found out she wasn't as special to her new bf as he had portrayed, so then without wanting the continuous ridicule from the others, she excused herself and left. -- if you've never been in her situation, of course you'd never understand-
