I've seen a lot of the horse races on television and the sound that is heard is usually the the announcer. I had always thought that the noise of the track would be the thundering of horses hooves. After this, I could imagine it gets LOUD on the track, at the home stretch! Every rider out there Yelling "Yah! get up! Go! Go! Go!"🐎🐎🐎

+Channer UK They might be appalling at spelling, and quite frankly I wouldn't want to spend all that long in a room with them... ("No" instead of "know", such a ghastly spelling mistake to make)... But they're right to be fair. "By" the stallion, "Out of" the dam. It's an error that gets to me a little too... Furthermore, I've found that correcting a person's spelling is often a final refuge for those children who know they're wrong too.... :P

+Christy Dolan not sure its exactly what the jockey hears. It is the wind, but the noise the wind makes blowing over a small microphone is not the same as what your ears would hear. The jockeys can definitely hear the roar of the crowd and the course commentary... in the straight at least.

The horse won, DESPITE having that screaming, ineffective and moderately useless sack on it's back! Forget " Girl Power" in racing- that's fortunately, never going to happen! When the day comes that Nicky Henderson, Paul Nicholls or Willie Mullins have a female stable jockey, then I'll admit I'm wrong- but hell will freeze over on the same day! :-)
