If we had a Presidential system, then you'd be right, but we don't, we have a Parliamentary system, whereby voters elect a party and have a monarch as the head of state. Nowhere on the ballot, does it include the head of any political party, just the constituency representative, for each party standing. You vote for them, not the potential PM. Now you could claim with justification, that the policies followed by Sunak are not the same as the mandate set forth by Johnson at the 2019 election, but that's always a matter of opinion. However, you can vote Sunak out with his administration at the next election in 2024, and that is the constitutional and democratic system in the UK. And now the EU said that they are issuing Ireland a fine of millions for having no accommodation for Ukrainians and economic migrants. Nothing about having no accommodation for Irish people and now it has been let out that 20 homeless people have died since January and in the last few weeks a boy under 17 yrs died on the streets. And now they are going to take out old people out of the nursing homes and put in Ukrainians and illegals into them . Since it was the UK government agreed to the Brexit deal, the Northern Ireland Protocol and the Windsor Agreement, the DUP should be addressing their problems with the UK government. The Stormont Assembly has no input or power to change the deals . Just like Scotland and Wales. So, refusing to to govern N. Ireland as they were elected to do, is both politically and morally wrong. As regards Ben Habib's take on "the threat of violence". The elasticity of his use of words and twisting them to suit his own narrative is surely beyond breaking point. The Reform UK party should be looking for a refund from Ben. So far his advice has not delivered anything.
