I'm a 73 year old music collector... More Joe please... and more Jimmy Barnes, one of my all time favorite vocalists. The drummer is Anton Fig and the bassist is Michael Rhodes, regulars with Joe. You've not scratched the surface of Joe's music. He's got 33 albums and I have 26 of them. He's in the rock group "Black Country Communion" and the fusion/funk group "Rock Candy Funk Party"... not to mention his performances with the amazing Beth Hart. Joe has the distinction of having more #1 Blues hits and Gold albums than anyone in history. .. yes I'm a fan. Might I suggest "Mountain Time" live at the Royal Albert Hall (an incredible intro) and "Angel of Mercy" and "Cadillac Assembly Line" both live at the Greek Theater. Glad you've found Joe.

Alleneh.....I love Joe’s work and am in awe of his talent, but only have two albums and a couple of DVD’s. I love rock, and when he covers Zeppelin In concert I’m amazed. I like blues, but only two or three per record, kinda the way. Zep did it. Can you suggest an album of his that might be a good fit for my taste? And also one of the funk/fusion? also, I’m curious about Black Country....since Joe’s American. I believe Jason Bonham is in the band, yes? But is he the only member from the Black Country? Did Jason put the band together? Picking your brain because you are obviously a strong fan.... Oh...and I LOVE Mountain Time! And we are the same age...🤘

@@w.geoffreyspaulding6588 Geoffrey... I have 13 of his DVD's, his 3 albums with Beth Hart, 4 with Black Country Communion, the 2 Rock Candy Funk Party albums and 16 of his solo albums. Hard to suggest one. I highly recommend his Live at the Greek Theater CD and DVD. His album British Blues Explosion has him doing songs by Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, Rod Stewart, Jack Bruce... cool album. Black Country Communion consists of Joe, Glenn Hughes bass (Black Sabbath, Deep Purple), Jason Bonham drums and Derek Sherinian keyboards. Either of the 2 Rock Candy Funk Party albums are fine but I might prefer the " Groove is King" CD (also comes with a DVD... and you can never get enough funk). The group was formed by the drummer, Tal Bergman (classically trained) and consists of Joe Bonamassa, Ron DeJesus guitar, Mike Merritt bass, Renato Neto keys, Fred Kron keys & strings, Daniel Sadownick percussion, Randy Brecker trumpets, Ada Rovatti sax and James Campagnola baritone sax... as they say, I might be old but I saw all the cool bands.

Don't know if anyone else mentioned this already - the drummer is Anton Fig, he was the long time drummer for David Letterman's band. The other guitarist was Brad Whitford, who has played in Aerosmith forever. This song was done back in 2012 when Joe was recording the Driving Towards The Daylight album. At the time, there was a tribute album being put together for Deep Purple's Machine Head album, and Joe covered a couple of songs at the time. Jimmy Barnes also sang on one of the songs on Driving Towards The Daylight.

@@flickdasher1775 I appreciate the suggestion Flick. I have a great appreciation for Gary Moore. Gary was a great player and one of my favorites too. Have been watching him for 30 years or more. No one could do it like him. But Joe has a lot to offer too. He was good enough to play on stage with Robben Ford , Miles Davis' guitar player, among others, when he was like 10 years old. Not many of us can say that, right? Although, I have been lucky enough to have played music with a few Grammy winners, myself .

Glad you checked this out. That Anton Fig Yamaha Signature snare is a beast and has been his mainstay for years. I bought that model twice for different kits and loved it. 14 x 6" 6-ply maple with wood hoops. Side sticks like nothing else, great tuning across the range.
