Joe is so very nice, kind, and thee most talented musician. Truly my honor to capture that moment with him.

Glad I found this video. This stage is loaded with stellar musicians. Of course there's Joe, one of the best guitarists on the planet, so you know it's gonna be good. But I'm partial to this video because of Wade, the fella on the vocals. I've been friends with him since I met him back around 2000, maybe earlier. He is one of the nicest, and to be what I consider a natural born front man, as humble as anyone you'll ever meet. He can sing pretty much any type of music. I enjoy watching him perform in an impromptu type jam session, like this. He always looks like he's having a blast, and enjoying and appreciating what all the other musicians are doing. This whole group of players appear to be like that. Somewher on KZbin, there's a really good recording of him performing, I think, an original song called "Right Now", by Wade 3. It's worth a listen. Thanks to whoever posted this. Wish I could have been at this show.

Joe just flails! His bag of tricks is huge and vocabulary enormous. You just never what he is gonna throw down. Middle age. Me thinks not. Just seasoned...

@levitheguitarplayer excuse me mr patronising. just watch 2 videos of him playing. live at rockpalast and live at the royal albert hall... you will notice what i am talking about. i have tried my hardest to emulate his style and i have to say he was much more experimental in his youth. and according to joe, it does matter “For me to be myself, I have to play a Les Paul. I plug it in and it sounds like me-exactly the way I’m supposed to sound. Anything else just doesn’t make sense"

@levitheguitarplayer do you think joe would have signed with gibson if he didnt want to just to make money. if you do they you really cheapen his music and what his music means. joe is one of the very very few musicians out there who doesnt seem to give a toss about the money. if he did i dont think he would tour over 300 days out of the year.

@levitheguitarplayer how joe used to be on strats... young and eager to prove himself. he has just become too relaxed in his near middle age. dont get me wrong, i think he should use gibbo's but this was just the 21 year old joe all over again.
