Joe B.I feel was not so happy with the whole thing being the wonder child past then he was rather lonely than the others who were the ones to put a child there to perform could have done more damage than to realise. But Joe went afterwards with others not Blues so much but rather Rock as and Black Heart Communion/ GLEN HUGHES former deep purple a time He took Beth Hart as an Equal under his wings a many times played with a lot as Eric Gales surrounded by time older experienced musicians. hard but he earned his own Blues.as when I 1st heard " I play the BLUES for you." as HIS trial in the Rock.humble he learned that it's better to play your own stuff as he did grow there to be now the Best for today's Blues.as in a fairytale no.not so but to do his Blues for us amazing great.to right one of the Best.but I daresay kids will often now these days expect to get up quite quick.and the chords of his guitar ( 1) to but not as everyone is a Rory Gallagher and does it his way not only in himself but without the beginning of A " Sony's or other great? record company first it is an insult for the gifted bloke second hard headed so still hurt he went his own way by playing to his fans,his own lyrics in his own Blues. to say that both Joe B the last and Rory Gallagher then.they teach 1 thing to be not a families new stars.shoved early in to public to perform a copy of A led Zeppelin or another best guitar piece .1 bit Joe B had to be himself and it is alone him now I am proud to listen to. I am an Australian living in Sydney. The Opera House is THE most iconic performance venue in this country. It is normally used for dance, opera, in fact, anything but rock shows. Joe has changed all of that. I am 53, started seeing live gigs aged 12, and this ranks with the very best of all the international acts that come to the best country in the world. I saw Joe again a few years later without Anton Fig, and whilst it was excellent, this Opera House show was very special. Let's pray that this hideous disease will end and we can all get back to touring, playing & performing.
