I was reading an article on the top 10 recommended JB albums and whoever was reviewing them also commented on his singing saying that he'd been taught wrongly/badly to sing, saying it was theatrical/karaoke...what!!!! I must definitely be listening to something completely different, he's a great singer, totally crazy isn't it 🤪🤔

I keep saying the same thing! I love this song and I never get tired of listening to it. I went and seen him for the first time a couple weeks ago in New Orleans March 2023 and he does not perform this song…urrrhhh! I have seen many comments where other people say they don’t like his song list for the tour he is doing right now and I have to agree. Damn this song should be on the radio! I’ve always liked his singing and playing, but this song reaches deep into my soul. I love the fact that he wrote the song with his band and it’s his song. This song makes me want to learn how to play guitar…no kidding. ❤

Joe has been laying down this kind of solo skill since he was Joey Bonamassa. I'm from his hometown area. (His dad, Lenny, is an old buddy of mine.) Joey used to show up in a black wide-brimmed hat, dress shirt and pleated pants and cowboy boots on feet that he hadn't grown into yet at the age of 12. He would throw his head back the way he does now and set the stage on fire. He was playing with veteran players... grown men, and there wasn't any question who the star of the band was. He has an emotional timbre to his playing that sets him apart (and above) a lot of other great players. The dude has always had that. I remember thinking, "Where does a kid get that kind of blues emotion at that age?" He has the gift. And he's always been a basic nice guy. Lenny and Deb brought him up right.

His writing talent and guitar skills are so good it's hard to find words to describe it. Awesome, unbelievable, mind blowing, badass awesome are a few. Tired of running I've seen these times before Desperation Our candle burns no more Everything we know Takes us so far away Trace your steps back Don't let 'em guide your way When I leave Oh, I leave for good No coming back Like you said, I would You crossed the line Why does it take so long to say goodbye? Every time I'm just a castaway Cast out into the sea Another rainy night Tears from the endless fights Oh, I carried you Carried you on my own So take the love you had And pretend you always know When I leave Oh, I leave for good No coming back Like you said, I would You crossed the line Why does it take so long to say goodbye? Every time Say goodbye Every time When I leave Oh, I leave for good No coming back Like you said, I would You crossed the line Why does it take so long to say goodbye? Every time Say goodbye Every time, yeah

Clapton is god? I think they were wrong. Bonamassa is god. Holy shit even after 15 years of constant listenting to Joe B he always finds a way to impress me. It is almost uncomfortable how good he is. What a huge talent.
