Wow y'all interviewing Joe Budden is NO easy task especially since he already speaks about his life so much on his own pod. But you guys rose to the occasion tbh.salute gang. He seems relaxed and i aint ever heard him reveal some of these things.. Savon great questions, Alex's pushback is amazing and Regi ur so beatiful lol and loved the intro. Man y'all just won me over 😂

It’s easy to see that Joe respects your team. He’s not known for really giving much up during outside interviews. This is my favourite Joe interview to date. He didn’t hold back at all 🔥

Joe is far more transparent when the hosts aren’t searching for some salacious information. This is all about honest, transparent conversation; and as an adult, that is what I enjoy.

It’s really good seeing Joe Budden going to The Need to Know podcast. It shows level and proves that Joe has been in support of them the whole time. He was very comfortable during this discussion. The chemistry between Joe and Savon is amazing. This CANNOT be Joe’s last visit.

they haven’t accomplished shxt yet. They got fancy equipment and just talking. They still got tons of work to do tbh cause nowadays anyone can start a Pod. The hard part is actually taking it somewhere and becoming successful. Then you can give out flowers after seeing the rewards

They pivoted from working for someone else podcast to doing their own, with credible guest on top of doing other things that align with there profession. That is amazing. Joe, sharing with them the love that he has for them and seeing them grow from where they started with him, was just so heartwarming for me. I absolutely agree with you.

When the teacher gets to watch his students grow, i imagine this pod to feel special to both parties. You can even see them utilize the elements they picked up from Joe but in their own unique way. An unguarded Joe is rare af! Need to know really gave us something special with this one

I started watching the JBP in phase 3, the Golden Era. Alex and Savon was such an intricate part of that of experience. I felt nostalgic seeing this especially since we’ll probably never see R&M onscreen with Joe again. Hands down the best Joe interview to date 👏. Excellent excellent.

It's BC the dudes he's being interviewed with know him personally as they used to work for him as they all grind together building his podcast. Joe can let some of his guards down and be a little more open with them. Joe has always been guarded and standoffish like a lot of ppl when interacting with ppl they don't know that well, that's not the case here.

Great episode. Three things I learned… 1. Savon is really good at this. 2. Joe and Rory really went to therapy together???? I always thought they were joking about that. I think that's cool. 3. Joe, Rory and Mal created something super special by just sitting down twice a week and talking to one another. And it all ended because they simply couldn’t/didn't sit down and talk to one another.

Joe don’t get enough flowers on his music. It’s masterful storytelling delivered with heavy bars laid over beautiful instrumentals. A lot of artists can’t ever get to that level of craftsmanship when trying to execute exactly what hes trying to say.

If joe doesn’t do “blind loyalty” he can’t fault Rory and Mal for doing what they did. The sh*t he said on that empty couch episode just showed how he really felt about them. These kids that listen to the pod love how comically toxic joe is, but if they had someone in their life that was actually like Joe, they’d cut him off in a heartbeat.

This is my first time watching need to know and you can tell Savon learned a lot from being on the jbp. I didn’t know he spoke this well and also smart in terms of not letting Joe get him off the subject. The other guy sometimes can get deterred and miss the entire point. But Savon can match Joe’s wit. Yall really becoming my new favorite podcast. The JBP on their last pod talked about how entertainers like Jay + Puff lose their touch to the streets or at least ‘common folk’ and i think Joe’s pod has too. So it’s refreshing to see and listen to pod that still is very relatable.

I’m late on the episode, but man! SaVon showed great skill not only in the questions asked but the way in which they were crafted & positioned. The end result being an in depth look into Joe’s genius from both a business/strategic angle as well as his self- reflection and awareness. I came away from the convo feeling like we know so much more about the man… Bottom line, best interview of JB that I’ve seen. Great job and content SaVon, Alex & Regi!
