Yes it’s true Z Wilson did not work out, but look who was still on the board when the Jets made that choice….Tray Lance, Justin Fields, Mac Jones, Kyle Trask…none have really been game changers….for that matter “generational talent” Trevor Lawrence has not lived up to expectations, despite the big contract extension he signed…drafting a QB is not a sure thing. I do blame him for not having a veteran QB on hand to help Wilson’s development IS his fault.

Now reports are saying Woody wanted Rodgers to benched after the loss to the Broncos in week 4. This is just the same mess the team goes through every year and especially when they search for another new HC/GM. Both Saleh and JD came from winning organizations and they could not replicate that same formula here. I do believe that Woody plays too much part of the team decisions and I even heard or read he wanted the team to draft Zach Wilson over the OT, Sewell at the time.

Hey since you mentioned him. I would be interested in Agnew for sure. Personally I’ve got to admit I’m not doing “the omg wtf, we’re curse, we could never play meaningful football some day”. Nope. I’m excited for the possibilities of what could be a great story of a next year that’s hopeful. With that said I’m not excited about Any of the QBs in the 1st round pick. Also, I would definitely trade Sauce for a load boat of picks. Franchise Breece 2x if need be. Extend Garrett after next season and sign to a competitive contract for Jermaine. I’m focusing on Will Johnson (Surtain potential) yey turnovers and tackles!!!

Am I the only one who thinks Woody made JD get ARod by any means necessary? That included ARod's demands to bring in all of his friends, whom NONE of them worked out. Woody put JD in a bad spot with ARod imo.. Whenever a pro sports team gives 1 player too much power, it almost never works out. Woody is desperate and desperate people do desperate things. Wood put the org back 3-4 yrs. JD wasn't perfect, but I thought he is above avg albeit missing on the biggest position, QB. I hope JD will succeed elsewhere and he will bc that's the Jets!
