Just bought my first Boswell pipe yesterday. I've been buying his tobacco since his Alexandria location opened (I live about 20 minutes away from it), but I finally had some extra money to invest in one of his pipes. Absolutely gorgeous piece of art! Anyway, J.M. himself is a really great guy. Truly talented, too.

@@joeandtell I like them because they come with a history, one that I am uncertain of but can appreciate. Its kinda cool thinking of what may have been going on in the world when the last person was enjoying a smoke with the old pipe.

congratulations Joe as I watched this I was enjoying my Boswell pipe too. One of these days I’ll start uploading videos. I think part of the problem, if there is a problem, with Boswell pipes is they’re talked about with such reverence, it’s almost impossible for the pipe to live up to the hype. It’s a great smoker and it’s one of a kind and supporting local American made business but does it live up to the hype? I don’t know. Is it better than my infamous toilet pipe? I don’t know yet toilet pipe is pretty awesome.

I am about 35 minutes from his Alexandria store so I get to peruse his pipes often. Spoiled I guess. I've passed on a few I should have bought!
