One thing about Canada they won’t let u fish without a guide .except cape Britain island there real fly fisherman friendly so the rest can suck it A

Please, Mr. Humphreys.... stop handling trout by grabbing their jaw....please. I fly fish and an no expert but you set an example for the world and the fact that you would grab a trout by it's jaw is sending a very poor message on how to "mis-handle" fish... Thank you for all you do...

+Fishing and Fotos Thank you for your concern, it must be recognized that Mr. Humphreys is from an older generation that did not understand the harm this could do to fish. He is a strong advocate of catch and release, and his methodologies were the best that he knew at the time. We don't encourage people to replicate these techniques. He is a fantastic angler and educator, which is why we posted these old episodes. Thank you.

Well what about hooking the fish in the lip with the fly. Do u have a problem with that

A trout's jaw is strong. Just use hookless flies if offended by this technique.
