He is not singing in Gillan's key. They have lowered the key by half a tone. Joe is a good singer but most of these and his songs he is singing are in modified key so it doesn't sound good at all.

The Guitarist's play and tone is good, but no one could ever replicate Ritchie's solo on this song on 'Made in Japan, and I've never heard even Ritchie himself come close to it again.

JLT was my favorite singer in the 1980's with Rainbow. He did an excellent album with Yngwie Malmsteen ("Odyssey") & also with Deep Purple ("Masters & Slaves"). He's still got singing chops & a great signature scream. He may have been bald, but he wore the best wigs in Rock 'n Roll! He looked good! He always had sex appeal.
