Because they are lying to your face, they know they are, you know they are yet they continue to talk in circles etc to make it look like we have some sort of agreement, thus lets do it MY way. My wife btw was on of those people that was one of those ignorant of guns individuals, was afraid of them and thus didnt like them. After working with her, she is a better shot than I am, uses them more often than I do and isnt afraid to grab one when something "not right" is going on outside (We have a small farm/ranch and raise a lot of our own food and like other places have regional issues with meth etc).

Now you may or may not get the wolfs teeth back depending on how good the criminals are, but 100% of the time, you are ALWAYS going to get the sheep teeth. The second ammendment was interpreted wrong? Which part exactly? "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Which part of that was misunderstood? A militia is only called upon during a time of war... in order for the militia to function, it's members need to be armed... in the case of the colonies vs. Britain, do you think they could of asked King George for some weapons to fight against him?...No. Thus why it was written that people could own firearms, independently of the government, if and when a time came to be called upon. I can see where someone like you who says to throw out the entire constitution would not understand this. But instead of dismantling the document which has made this one of, if not the most disarable country in the world to live in (if you argue that, look up migrating statistics) you could easily move to another one that shares your opinion. It be far easier for you to accomplish this than changing the constitution and it also wouldn't impact the lives of millions of people who don't agree with you at all.

When he said four hour work day/four day work week, I just about cried. I wish that so bad. I wish that my friends didn't have to barely survive an apartment bill on two jobs and several roommates, or be forced to stay in their parents place. That they have the time and money to fix their car when it breaks down instead of spending several months scraping on even less to finally save enough up to do something about it. I bought my friend shoes recently because he's been in the same shoes for a long time and they look kinda wrecked. He said he hasn't had good quality non-walmart shoes since he was a kid. The struggle is immense for so many people, and it's not just the gas prices, it's the food and housing and everything else too. Sell off your guns to pay for next month's insulin? Really? How about making insulin, or something like it, affordable? Or even find ways to decrease the cost of all the other necessities so the insulin can be paid for in the first place? Why are we sitting in this struggle we don't have to be in? I don't get it.
@emil12341 Жыл бұрын
The insulin thing is du absurd. A years worth of insulin costs about 120$ to make. How are people going bankrupt over this in the US? In most European countries its part of free healthcare.
@bearilliantbear1769 Жыл бұрын
@Emil Beile it can cost a lot just for a dose. You think your insulin in Europe is free or cheap but it's not. The NHS pays for it so you don't have to, and they go into debt for it. Companies who sponsor insurance for insulin in the U.S. also pay big bucks for it too. Everyone is buying, not making, from about three pharmaceutical companies who charge whatever they want for it and increase this charge as they make tiny adjustments that make higher quality insulin over time. Prices might even dramatically change just because they label the insulin a different brand or call it generic or it goes through different middlemen, but its the same insulin. So even if you yourself aren't paying for the insulin, someone has to. And insurance premiums can go up cause of gov and companies paying for it too. TlDr: It's complicated bs for why things are priced.

Right. There's 40k gun deaths a year, 400 million guns. So where are all of these children getting their parents guns. Also, a burglary/home invasion happens every 15 seconds in the US. 1 out of 5 homes will be burglarized. But children are killing themselves all the time, and home invasion are rare🤦🏽♂️. People make shit up to make their ridiculous point sound better.
@scoop24484 жыл бұрын
@@joeschmo247 No, it's based on studies. The fact is you're 22 times more likely to have that gun be used accidentally, or for homicide or for suicide, than for self defense. If you happen to have kids, you are now increasing the risk of either them or yourself being shot by accident, if you have a gun around. One of the drawbacks of being a human being is having a really bad intuition on risk-benefit analysis. We tend to often times ignore clear risks and emphasize the potential for benefit, effectively convincing ourselves that our choices are sound and likely to benefit us despite extremely obvious indications otherwise. This is why so many people play the lotto. And why so few have a healthy diet. You're getting the gun thinking it'll help protect you, but you're only thinking of the potential positive outcome without weighing it against the overwhelming potential that it can be used negatively.
@joeschmo2474 жыл бұрын
@@scoop2448 Wait, so 40k is bigger than 2 million? You do understand that's the number of gun defenses? So a very small percentage of gun deaths are from children getting ahold of guns. This man said differently, also, home invasion is very very high in the US, but this man says differently. That's my point. Way more guns stop crime, than the other way around. Also, he isn't talking about the main gun that kills people, handguns. He dances over the BS term, but he says AK-47. 97.7% of all gun deaths are not rifle related. But why do people talk about them? No one wants children killing themselves, no one wants murder, but to say it's the guns fault is ridiculous. Until we get a hold on mental health and poverty, this will never stop.
