The thing is, IF there was a big shift, and if there was a scientific consensus that he was wrong, HE would change the way he thought about things. He isn't looking at the situation from "This person that was a man for 30 years is now in female sports, is it fair?", he is looking at it from "If we accept that trans people are the gender they are performing, what changes in society need to happen for that to be universal?" If Adam looked into the biology of it all, he would get to the same point Joe is at. There is a HUGE advantage to M>F sports people. But the other side is, how do we fully accept trans people and what does that look like? You can say "biology", sure, but there is an amazing swimmer that's broken records and stuff, and he is able to do it because his body functions differently. Does he deserve to have the records, or should we take them away because he had a biological advantage? More importantly, how does that imply to trans people.

We have all known a 7 year old child at one point. Think back to that child. That kid knows nothing. That child is doing 8×8 multiplication assignments in their math class. The reason that I feel injections should not be done is not because of the fact they may change their mind but the fact that they may not even want to transition. Thats the reason the language has changed from transsexual to transgender because not every person with this feeling actually wants to change their body because of it. They may still feel comfortable in their body and just not feel comfortable dressing or acting a way that is generally looked at as "masculine" or "feminine" behavior.

Jesse Bogdonoff - Understandable but that is generally how most podcasts work, it’s a discussion and this definitely applies to Joes podcast. It’s not a 6 minute video where you do prior research, it’s a 2 hour podcast where you can discuss ideas which I think Adam is aware of how joes podcast works. He seems to be in a echo chamber and cannot proceed with his points when challenged once. Look at the video where they discuss the moon landing. I believe dealing with adversity and adapting makes people stronger, it's part of human existence and development. The whole gender transition thing, especially for kids, just tries to get rid of that adversity instead of letting them learn how to deal with it (and maybe let their body and brain finish developing). I don't think it's a good idea. It's like if I wanted to be a bodybuilder but I'm skinny as fuck, and doctors said "oh well his body dysmorphia is affecting his mental health, let's give him steroids and growth hormone so he can get big, nevermind how it affects the rest of his health!" As someone who was a child and loved being a tomboy, I am so glad I was never given the option to transition. I constantly pretended to be a boy, I played sports on boys teams, dressed like a boy, declared myself my father’s son…… now I’m a happy mother. I still prefer male company, playing video games and love watching MMA, hunting but I would never want to be a man. I was so sad when I was a kid I wasn’t a boy but as an adult am so grateful to be a woman. Please let kids find themselves instead of pumping them with drugs!!!

Do you think that after going through all the doctors and psychologists that you'd still feel the need to transition? cause if the answer is yes then you might have some questions for yourself you need to answer. If the answer is no, then why do you give a shit? you're not trans, you weren't trans so the option wouldnt have changed anything about you

@@StarPichu12 if you asked me at age 4-13 years I would have said yes I’m a boy. That’s my problem with letting kids so young make that choice. I would have done anything to be a boy. Once I went through puberty and adjusted to being a human I stopped feeling that way. Turns out I’m just Bisexual. In high school I ran the GSA and helped other kids transitioning but they were 16-18 years old not 4-14years old.
