This is one of the most unnassumingly inspiring episodes. I admire this dude so much for always rewriting his chapter. Mad respect, man.

He's like the reverse of Dave Mustaine from Megadeth. He got over the band drama right away and found a life where he could be the main character offstage

This guy is fascinating. He is possibly the humblest man doing an interview that I have seen in memory. I don't think that most of you know just how unordinary this man is. He gets a F on talking about himself, but an A on life accomplishments, and guts! He is a extraordinary American. One worth fighting for.

Amazing guy. He paid for the bleach recording sessions using money he earned from working as a deep sea fisherman. Jason was actually a better musician that Kurt Cobain. It must have been hard just holding back and playing what was directed to him. Not many people are aware just how good of a musician Jason is. Kurt stated many negative things about Jason but equally, it must have been hard being within close proximity of Kurt and all his idiosyncrasies. Being a major fan of Kurt and Nirvana since 1989, one can be easily be biased, but to this day, Jason has never insulted or criticised Kurt. He stayed quiet for decades. Human beings easily learn how to speak, however, it is a skill and merit to learn when not to speak. Its amazing that we finally get to hear him and his story. What an interesting life. Thanks guys for such a great video.

The first hour was the most excruciating JRE interview I've seen. Joe continually engaged Jason with incredible patience, kindness and objectivity. Jason responded well to this environment. Joe has a gift at communicating and now we have the gift of Jason's fascinating story and his perspective on this crazy world we are riding on together. Well done gents!

What Jason said about Afghanistan geographically is pretty much what I said after my deployment there. Nangarhar province where I was at looked like Colorado. Incredible mountain ranges, alpine forest, and sprawling streams and rivers. I always tell people if it weren’t for endless war happening there it’d be one of the premiere vacation destinations on the planet.

Jason, I am 65 years old and never had children, but I still want to have a child. I am a retired SCADA technician with more resources than I need, and my only desire is to have a child and give to charity, widows, and orphans in particular.

There are many ways your resources can help people to grow. It doesn't need to be children, dude. Support nice and humble people who can spread good teaching and lessons afar. It reverberates too! And don't forget to enjoy your stuff, old man. The true ones that make you happy. You fought hard for that and deserve it!

I actually think it would be interesting for Joe to have an everyday ordinary person segment, where he sits down with a non-celebrity and digs in deep to see how they tick and give an insight into the path theyve walked that lead them to where they are today, which is essentially what he does with all of his guests. Some of the most intriguing people ive ever met were ordinary, unassuming, average Joe-Type people (pun not intended) Or maybe thats just me and my fascination with people in general even though im typically not fond of humanity lol.....its a paradox 😂

This conversation slowly builds and builds. Towards the end they are really connecting. The "elephant in the room" is Christ. They are both so close to a Christ like view but probably have been jaded on that like a lot of people have been through deception and distortion. Hopeful they find him.

Enjoyed this pretty thoroughly, except I felt Joe got a little preachy toward the end about having kids. Procreating isn't the be-all and end all... This dude is experiencing and exploring plenty, both externally and internally ... I don't feel like there is any need to brow beat him into having kids just for the sake of having kids. Maybe he's just the MGTOW of all MGTOWs
