Regarding simultaneous translation, I am an interpreter, this is my job and my life. The problem with simultaneous translation is not technical, it isn´t a hardware issue either, the problem with it (and this is why we are called interpreters and not translators), is that speech is imperfect, it is also culturally different. As an example; A japanese businessman will say "I will do everything in my power to get this done", and this actually means "NO", he says this because culturally, it is extremely unpolite to say no. Also you will find people form India who really believe they can speak english, but their english is "polluted" by Indi phonemes which does not allow them to pronounce properly unless they have learned the language before puberty. Another case, is a person with a British background will say "boot" when he names the "trunk" of a car, or a Chilean spanish speaker will call a baby a "guagua", while a cuban will call a bus a "guagua" and a Spanish person will call it a "Bebé", this happens because native american languages are embedded in latin american spanish, and each latin american country was home to several tribes with different languages, and these languages merged into spanish, creating regional sub-languages; In the north of Argentina young people are called "Guris", which comes from Guaraní language (native tribe that lived in what now is Southern Brazil, Paraguay and Northern Argentina) and locals will pluralize the word in Spanish by adding "es", ending in "Gurises" (group of young people). Australians will use the wrong vowel sound (for an american) when speaking, anb example is the "Gadday" (For good day). Another case in point is US citizens calling themselves "American" (because they call their country America, and Peruvians calling themselves Americans because they are form the continent called America. Also, accents and specific technical languages are another animal altogether. So far, these machines have failed miserably, (proof of this is that i still have a job), however; human interpreters do better, but are not infallible either.

To Joe and Dr. Michio Kaku, The concept of a “reasonable expectation of privacy” is a legal and societal standard that serves to protect individuals from unwarranted intrusions into their private lives. This expectation is not uniform and varies depending on the context and cultural norms. In entertainment and social interactions, these privacy norms play a crucial role in maintaining respectful boundaries between individuals. The term “Nero connection” might metaphorically refer to neurological connections or the intrinsic respect and boundaries that exist within social interactions. Maintaining these boundaries is essential for preserving the integrity of these connections. If someone is suddenly introduced into a situation without regard for these established norms, it could disrupt the respect and connection that have been cultivated, potentially leading to negative consequences in personal relationships or broader social contexts. This understanding underscores the importance of respecting established privacy norms and boundaries to maintain healthy and respectful interactions in society. Kind regards, Subject Alpha

Future is a word of something we will never see. It doesn't seem real because either we will see the future and it becomes present at that time or we have a possibility of the future in our mind that is build out of the past

I could be wrong about this, but Kaku sounds like that overly excited uncle who just got on AOL back in the 90s when he talks about quantum computing. Admittedly I don’t know much myself, but quantum computers just provide more horsepower from what I understand. How are quantum computers going to serve as fact checkers as Kaku claims? They don’t do anything a traditional computer doesn’t already do, just a lot faster. In theory more time to process or additional traditional processors (or both) could achieve the same number of calculations. What he’s claiming is achieved by software, not a super fast quantum processor.

NIST has no other choice but to use the Newtonian context of gravity as a force argument. Can you imagine if NIST said the 3 towers collapsed 2 from the top down because gravity doesn't make things fall, gravity is not a force? LOL. It is total disinformation when gravity is said to be a downward force that it is not. And teachers should have a duty to remind students that this Newtonian concept of gravity as a force is not the truth. ( ;`Д´) This is an artistic proof of a created universe. When you paint a shadow it's the opposite color of the object that made the shadow. Nobody knew what the opposite color of white was so the artists avoided painting white on white. The opposite color of white is baby blue and baby pink. The first artist to figure it out was Norman Rockwell. I was the second artist to figure it out. I saw it in the corner of a white room. The lighting was perfect to see it.

Michio Kaku is very interesting. However, I don't agree that ChatGPT is merely a chatbot acting as an editor. To predict the next word, the AI needs to think and deeply understand the topic, which can result in new solutions. It's not just "copying and pasting".

AI would only be alive if there is experiencing. For me counsciousness is not defined by self reflecting thoughts, rather by the space in which that movement is perceived. So If there is space for something to exist, you can be sure that the space on its own is more likely to exist than which you think exists in it. I'm talking about counsciousness seen as the space in which movement is possible. I call thoughts, feelings and perception of the senses movement and everything else that is experienceable. I think this is what defines counsciousness if you think that counsciousness is linked to being alive.
