My mum cheated on my dad with half the town and his friends while he worked 60+ hours a week. He thought she was saving the money he made. When he found out she was cheating she took me and my brother away from him. A judge ordered that he could see his sons once every two weeks and he had to pay child support and alimony to her until we were both 16. He did nothing wrong and lost everything. Meanwhile she got her kids and a free pass for years. When she took us to another country he stopped paying everything. She then started calling him a deadbeat and chased him in the courts for his cash. I haven't spoken to my mother for twenty years.

Atom Storm The one good thing from your story is that you and your brother were able to still see your father and not be kept from him altogether and brain washed by your mother, as it happens all too often. A good friend of mine has two daughters with his ex wife and when they were only 1yr and 3yrs old the mom took off to another state with a new guy. It took my friend 7 years to locate her and then get the courts to force the mom to let him see the girls. Sadly the mom had 7 years to brain wash the girls against their own father and no matter how hard he tried there was no getting through to them. The girls are now 18 and 20 and have cut off all communication with their dad. It's heart breaking for him and what the mom did is disgusting. Too many women seem to get the idea that the children are somehow more hers than they are the dad's and when they no longer want the man they think he no longer has rights to the children. Judges should give full custody to the dads in cases like that.

My first and only experience with the sexism of a feminist was at a factory I once worked in. I was palleting boxes half the day, she was lidding those said boxes. She wouldn't shut-up about the feminist movement, how women deserve equal rights and opportunities just the same as men, to which I replied "I totally agree. Rotation time" She gets down to the pallet, picks up one box and says "I'm not doing this. This is a mans job" ... And that very sentencing has summed up the definition of what feminism really is.

My mother divorced my dad, and to this day she lies about cheating. I watched her and my sister move into her boyfriend’s huge house. Ex sergeant major of the marine Corp, multiple vehicles, a boat, pays everything in cash. He bought her a Harley just because, so they could ride together. Within months my dad gave up and was diagnosed with cancer. He passed just 4 months later. They lived in luxury; and I slept in a tiny fishing trailer by the lake in the middle of winter. My mom blames me for all of my hardships, and I’ve worked very, very hard to try to keep my head afloat. Just watching it all unravel broke me. And I’ve tried so hard to get ahead in life, but it never happens. It haunts me, and it’s like a black cloud follows me everywhere and will not let me get ahead. I’ll never not feel my dad’s broken heart.

What’s really messed up is when it’s proven that a man never committed sexual assault on a woman and she doesn’t receive any prison time for falsely accusing that man. Feminism made my life awful, for many years I was thought that I was a victim and weak, and so I was always very angry and felt powerless. Literally victim mentality, when others are responsible for your miserable life and you have no power to change it. Of course I was also very alone. As you know, when you feel a certain way about yourself, life offers you countless opportunities to see your idea confirmed, if you present yourself like a victim, it's natural to people to treat you as you believe you are. Ever since I completely abandoned this shitty ideology, stopped being angry and aggressive, embraced men's and women's different qualities and roles, no man has ever disrespected me again, not even once! Men hold the door for me, men listen to me, lift heavy things for me, I swear men treat me like a princess. I'm not sure why it is, maybe they feel I'm appreciative and I don't fear or despise them? My impression is that it's very natural of men to want to protect women, as long as you don't demand it of them while treating them like potential monsters.

Thats what I would love to do for women who acknowledge our role as men. I understand women naturally have to bear some biological hardships, so its natural that men have to compensate for that with little things (e.g., lift heavy objects, be wet when theres only one umbrella, be cold when a woman didnt bring enough warm clothes...). But some women need to understand that we do that because we want the best for them, not because we want to assert dominance or think they cant take care of themselves.

I had a child with a one night stand. I was young and dumb as they say. I was ordered to pay child support, which is fine, but the part I don't think is fine is I was 18, didn't have insurance at the time. She didn't have insurance either. The judge ordered me to pay the hospital bill. Not we split it, but I had to pay the entire bill. My son is 19 now. I calculated what it all cost. $118,000. Kids are expensive. Just graduated high school, and basically got a bill for 120,000 dollars and 18 years to pay it. It was really tough at times, there were many times I thought to myself, I could raise my son myself, and would cost me the same. I felt like I was paying for everything and she didn't have to financially support him at all. But I love my son, and I didn't mind paying to make sure he had everything he needed. But I felt so powerless, I had no control over anything. I was in control of no decisions in his life. The courts made it seem like I was nobody but the bank.

Hughezy WrestlingAndComedy probably, but some people who feel weak and vulnerable latch on to any source of power they find. Crying sexism (maybe justifiably) has probably helped her get her own way before, so now its her 'go to' response to most situations when dealing with men. He talks more about it in another video. He is talking about his NewsRadio co-star Dave Foley from Canada. At the time of marriage Dave was not making a lot but by the time of divorce, he was the star of NewsRadio making a lot of money and ordered to pay alimony based on this high salary. Please note this was a long time ago. I’m Canadian and it is up to the particular judge how much and how long they will grant alimony. They base it on many factors like the persons earning potential, lifestyle and years of the relationship (common law or marriage). In Canada the payor of alimony gets to claim it as a tax expense and the recipient has to claim it as earnings and pay tax.

My mom, (God rest her soul, I love her very much and I know it in my bones that she always loved me dearly and did her best) was a lesbian for practically my entire life, right up until just before she died. If you didn't know, lesbian relationships are the most volatile from a domestic abuse perspective, (the numbers reported are kind of all over the place, admittedly, but there's no denying my experience and the single congruity between all the disparate studies, that being that domestic abuse is statistically more common in same-sex pairings and especially female-female pairings) and I witnessed countless examples of the female bias in our society. Time and time again, my mother and her few different girlfriends she had over the years would drink heavily and proceed to beat the absolute shit out of one another with practically zero consequences. The police would come, they would exchange a few words, and then... leave. Not once, not one single time did my mother or her girlfriends catch a citation, go to jail, or have to attend AA/Anger Management. Nothing. The one time I decide I've had enough and decide to stop my mom's girlfriend from choking me and headbutted her right in the nose... cops, big boy jail, mom/girlfriend sold all my belongings to pay for legal fees, and the sweetest little cherry on top is the "domestic violence" charge that precludes me from legally participating in a handful of things in life for the rest of my days. Yes, I showed the police my neck and face bruises. They didn't take pictures, they didn't offer medical attention, they just did not give a fuck. They slapped a label on me and tossed me in the trash. An expendable male. I've worked with a few attorneys and am well on the way to having this expunged from my record, but it's a slow and costly process. A man understands if he snaps, for whatever reason, there are dire consequences that could ruin his career, his family, and his life. There was photo evidence of the affair and a video made by nanny cams. And she was honest about it. Still, her husband that was cheated on, he had to pay for her attorneys, he has to pay her a fixed amount for the rest of her life and he has to pay for her new home and car. The judge reportedly said it’s because he had abandoned her needs, which is why she had an affair. There was also a case where the man filed for divorce because the woman wanted to get a sex change. In germany we have something called a "Frauen quote" or in English a "womans quota", which forces a company to have a certain amount of woman in leadership roles, like coo's etc. The law was pushed through like no other law ive seen. But people dont realize that companys will now just put some woman into a leadership role, but she will be ignored, because she isnt here because of her skill set but because shes a woman. I find this law incredibly sexist. And things like this should not be a thing
@naariznica31332 жыл бұрын
It's because a lot of companies would never allow for a woman to be in those positions. The women who arrive there, they still have the qualifications. The reason they may be ignored is because of..... Guess! Discrimination against women, which is the reason why these laws exist in the first place!
@PS-qn4oz2 жыл бұрын
Women actually cannot win. If we want jobs, we're resented for being like men. If we are dependent, we are resented for being pathetic and dependent. If we have children but work, we are neglectful. If we have children and stay home with them, we're lazy morons. We. Cannot. Win.

@michlo3393 Жыл бұрын
@@naariznica3133 But that's an overcorrection if you ask me. Yes, fix the discrimination, but not in a way that you just shoehorn women into a position whether or not they're qualified or competent at the work to meet a quota. That just doesn't make any sense. And that has become the problem, probably because companies are too lazy to find the women who would be capable at whatever level of work being filled. The thing is, doing that is bad not just for the company, but for the employees as well. And for the record, men are discriminated against too, only we don't get a national societal movement in place to push us to the top whether we deserve it or not. If we all sat down and actually understood each other and our value, we could make for a very healthy environment for all. But that's just not the case.
@naariznica3133 Жыл бұрын
@@michlo3393 That’s not how it is in majority of cases though. That’s how a little child sees the world. Just because there is a quota, doesn’t mean the women aren’t fit for the positions. Especially since the roles we are talking about require degrees from the field and previous experience, and, believe it or not, they are on average not any less capable than their male counterparts. There are millions of qualified women seeking jobs in every field, even the ones which are predominantly male populated, and the quota allows them to have a chance to fight for the position, even with the discrimination present in our society. Any company with history and a sense for business will still pick valuable employees no matter the quota, since doing otherwise will harm the company and its profits. I won’t even go into your “men are discriminated too” comment - when it comes to the workforce: not systemically, not historically and not because they’re men, there are other variables at play. You could argue about the law system favouring women when it comes to divorce, but there are reasons for that too. Surely you don’t think that every successful woman got “pushed to the top” undeservingly? That’s sounds like an ironic caricature of a misogynist. If there is such national movement where I can just push a button and become a CEO from my living room, please tell me where to apply. We could have a healthy discourse and “environment” in the future, when you sit down with yourself, stop looking at the world from the lens of your deep-rooted prejudice, and realise you’re not the one who dictates or understands other’s “value”.

*I have been working on a inversion of that speech* I was appointed as good will ambasador for UN men six mouths ago. The more I have spoken about Meninism the more I have realized that fighting for Mens rights has to often become synonymous with woman hating. If there is one thing I know for certain, it is that this has to stop. For the Record Meninism, by definition, is the beilf that Men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes. I started questioning gender based assumptions a long time ago- when I was 8. I was confused about being called disrespectful when I politely questioned what I was being taught in school, but everyone else seemed to beilve things with litte or no investigation. When at 14 I started to be de-sexualized by certain elements of the media. When at 15 Men started dropping out of colleges because they didn't want to appear masculine. When at 18 my female friends/and family demonized me every-time I expressed my feelings. I decided that I was a Meninist and this seemed uncomplicated to me. But my recent research has shown me that Meninism has become an unpopular word. Men are choosing not to identify as Meninist. Apparently I am among the ranks of Men who's expressions are seen as to strong, to aggressive, isolating, and anti-female- yet strangely attractive. Why has the word become such an uncomfortable one. I am from Britan! And I think it is right, that i am paid what I earned. I think it is right, that I should be able to make decisions about my own body. (applase) I think it is right the Men be involved on my behalf in the policy and decisions that will effect my life. I think it is right, that socially I am afforded the same respect as whamen. But sadlly, I can say that thier is no one county in the west where all men can except to receive these rights. NO country in the west can yet say that they have achieved gender equality. These rights I consider to be human rights; But I am one of the luck ones. My life is a sheer privilege. Because my parents didn't love me less because I was born an son. My school did not medicate me because I was a boy. ( they tried ) My mentoers didn't assume i would go less far because i would have to pay alimony one day. These influences for the gender equality ambasadors, that make me who i am today. They may not know it. But they are the inadvertent Meninist that are changing, the world today. We need more of those. And if you still hate the word. It is not the word that is important. It is the idea and the ambition behind it. Because not all Men have received the same right that i have. If fact statistically very few have been. In 1997 Hillary Clinton made a famous speech in berlin about Mens rights. Sadly many of the things that she wanted to change are still true today. But what stood out for me the most was that less then 2% were female. How can we affect change in the world when only half of it is invited, Or feel welcome to participate- in this conversation? Women I would like to take this opportunity, to extend your formal invitation. (applase) Gender equality is your issue to. Because to date, I see my fathers role of a parent as being valued less by society. despite me needing his presence by my side as much as my mothers. Ive seen Men destroyed by the very people they sought for help. Even when their feedback was requested. Living in fear that their masculinity would be viewed as toxic. In Fact in the UK suicide is the biggest killer of Men.

Sorry to burst the bubble but you need to account for the reversed roles. Stay at home father+bread making mother+ Divorce= mother keeps children and father still has to pay alimony despite sacrifices of work experience and further education. Not as common to hear about but absolutely happens. In today's court systems the only way the man ever wins alimony is if there is clear non refutable evidence that the women either is harmful to the kids, neglectful with the kids or committed an act of adultery against the marriage. And when I say clear evidence I mean bruises, evident malnourished children, and audio or video evidence of the act committed. Otherwise the court will side with the women a very large percentage of the time.

They are completely ignoring the simple fact that most men don't even show up to court to try to get custody of their kids. In cases where men try to get custody, they usually get it. Go look at the stats, they back this up. They just don't show up to court- and you have zero excuse to not show up for your own children. Sorry, but this is just pathetic. The alimony points? Yeah, I don't think you should pay alimony for life. But if your wife gave up her career to raise your kids, she traded her career for yours. You left the relationship benefitting from her sacrifice and she leaves net negative because she stayed with the kids. Yeah, she made that choice, but is it fair for her to get screwed? And child support.... they act like it's some kind of penalty towards the man. Sorry, they are your kids. You have a financial obligation to take care of them. Are there women who scam this system? Sure. But fix what is unfair rather than screwing over vulnerable people. We have an epidemic of single motherhood just as much as we have an epidemic of absentee fathers. Blame lies with both parties. People need to grow TF up and stop having babies until they are in committed relationships where they can afford (both mentally and financially) to raise children. Children deserve better than these weak men and weak women.
