Micro dosing mushrooms responsibly for a short period have been proven to be more effective, efficient and healthier method for depression and anxiety, feeling lost, and/or lack of meaning/purpose in ones life; a couple weeks of use can last 6 to 12 months. No "medication" compares. Combine with a therapist is recommended as reprogramming our thought patterns and perceptions is a cornerstone to said issues.

@@marioeid930 that would be more useful for someone seeking spiritual growth and/or needing to get over and let go of an extreme traumatic event in ones life. All of natures plants ("drugs") should be respected, used appropriately and not abused. My oppinon on DMT would be to use under supervision by a professional, ie shaman, via ayahuasca. Avoid synthetic black market nonsense. Take a vacation to south/central america to an ayahuasca resort.

Joe is a coward. If he was rock solid he would have Trump on his podacst and not give a fuck what anyone says because he's made enough money to not be affected no matter what happens. He just passes as a pseudo intellectual because he occasionally invites a smart individual onto his podcast for a long form discussion about absolutely jack shit that is useful to everyday people. But people appreciate it because it's actually genuine conversation which I can appreciate. However, Joe does not have rock solid views because I can bet he voted liberal but moved to a conservative state in Texas because financially he is a republican.

That whole censorship- and risk of being CANCELLED type problem is caused by ICANN (International Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). ICANN administers a censorship-clause in the contract it binds the renters of subdomains to. The clause is about agreeing to not have any CONTENT that might cause anyone to have certain negative FEELINGS and that ICANN can terminate the rental contract if they do have any such CONTENT. The clause essentially forces the TENANTS (gmail, yahoo, youtube etc) to enforce subjective dictator style censorship power over all account USERS (including bloggers, podcasters etc). The subdomain TENANT pays a huge amount in annual rent, must have a large cash capital in the bank and must be a large company to even be allowed to RENT a subdomain, so rhat contract forces the TENANT to protect its investment. That is WHY the TENANT (youtube is one such TENANT) PASSES ON the censorship clause to the ACCOUNT holders (holders of email-accounts, youtube-accounts, you name it. See? This is the CORPORATION-RUN subdomain TENANCY-market. THAT is HOW free speech is eliminated. ELIMINATE ICANN and voila, problem solved. THIS (ICANN and its very existence) is the internet problem we need to address.

When Lex questions whether negative media/online attention can "destroy you." I think he means it in the sense that it can destroy someone's psyche, or internal emotional well being. I don't think he just wonders about it taking a toll on your brand/business. If the former, then the best lesson to take from it all is that in just a few short months, everything just blows over and is mostly gone. I think the key lesson is simply to never overreact to the current BS being thrown at you. You don't even need mushrooms and workouts, per se. You just need to take a longer perspective on things than just a day or two. And know that everything just sort of runs its course, loses energy and dies down.

People often confuse freedom of choice with freedom from consequence. We are free to choose but we are not free from consequence. Inform yourself with consequence as best you can then choose. Attitudes, laws, societal and individual beliefs have always been transient. If your intention is to be kind, honest and helpful in your words and actions you will feel free regardless of the changes or consequences because you will be who you want to be without intentionally causing harm to others ( if this is who you choose and want to be).Take careful consideration in your words and motives and you can then really feel free to express your whole views with less fear of consequence. Take care

Joe/Lex, a, of the several, key reason for both your successes in this saturated field, is the uncommon ability to listen. This draws the interviewee out, let's people be judged for themselves, and provides for a pleasant listening vs combative heated disrespectful argument. Keep listening. And we will too.

I've not seen any of the people that criticise Joe actually sit down and listen to an entire podcast. They take sound bites or base their opinions on Joe's appearance. Even national journalists in the UK admitted on the radio they haven't listened to entire podcasts but have it on good authority he is racist, sexist, homophobic. Anyone that has listened to an entire episode knows Joe is miles away from being sexist, homophobic or racist, he has the most diverse groups of podcast guests in the world. Black, white, straight, gay, trans, left, right, male, female, non binary... Literally all bases are covered.

former long time fan here my criticism of joe is not that hes a bad guy hes just really malleable if hes around scientists hes science joe, if hes around a hunter or hes hunter joe, if hes around comedians hes comedian joe, if hes ...you get the idea he doesn't firmly think or believe anything hes willing to change his mind on anything thats why he was so drawn to conspiracy theories his mind is wide open which is also why he made such an entertaining podcast i watched his pod for years because i enjoyed the range of guests , the complete absence of scripting , openness to just about any topic and the length i could pop on an podcast or 2 and id be set for almost my entire shift at work unfortunately joes openness has been exploited in recent years and i just cant enjoy the narrow list or topics and guests he has on now its not that i dont like hearing the other sides opinion i just require more novelty i dont find him offensive i find him boring i usually get bored of something rather quickly but joe held my attention for years

I admire both Lex and Joe.. they’ve both shown such a strength of character which I find inspiring.. especially when faced with such criticism. I think most people listening to this understand the idiocy that underlines cancel culture.. because of its inherent expectation that one should not nor is allowed to make mistakes.. which is dehumanising. Making mistakes is part of what makes us human, that’s how we grow and learn. So the crux of this is.. if we really want to move forward we need to be okay with making mistakes.. and we need to be tolerant with others making mistakes as well otherwise we are creating a toxic environment for ourselves and others

Joes one of the first people ever to have these problems (being SO big on the internet) hes got some good advice and hes literally done it so theres that too. As Marcus Aurelius said: "You always own the option of having no opinion". This applies to EVERYONE who decides their negative opinion simply MUST be spewed to others online. It says VOLUMES about them that they choose to voice their negative opinion publicly, and they fail to realise that they accomplish only the following: that they look immature; that they are unable to allow others to hold differing opinions to theirs; that they feel a need to be heard rather than keep their views or opinion silent.

Once upon a time, I entirely enjoyed Joe's podcast. However, due to a heavy dose of hubris and hyperbole, which crept in, understandably so (I noticed- after huge contract from Spotify). I was no longer a fan. After listening to this clip "the thinking mind" is the drunk monkey that perpetuates fear, confusion and self doubt. Amazing answer and process: " I took mushrooms" 🍄. Corporate media or any other media outlet, couldn't take Joe down. Nonetheless, Joe truly transcends/ understands his own nature, intuition and spirituality through micro dosing. Kudos to Joe, well done👏👏👏
