Micro dosing mushrooms responsibly for a short period have been proven to be more effective, efficient and healthier method for depression and anxiety, feeling lost, and/or lack of meaning/purpose in ones life; a couple weeks of use can last 6 to 12 months. No "medication" compares. Combine with a therapist is recommended as reprogramming our thought patterns and perceptions is a cornerstone to said issues.

But people appreciate it because it's actually genuine conversation which I can appreciate. That whole censorship- and risk of being CANCELLED type problem is caused by ICANN (International Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). ICANN administers a censorship-clause in the contract it binds the renters of subdomains to. The clause is about agreeing to not have any CONTENT that might cause anyone to have certain negative FEELINGS and that ICANN can terminate the rental contract if they do have any such CONTENT. The clause essentially forces the TENANTS (gmail, yahoo, youtube etc) to enforce subjective dictator style censorship power over all account USERS (including bloggers, podcasters etc). The subdomain TENANT pays a huge amount in annual rent, must have a large cash capital in the bank and must be a large company to even be allowed to RENT a subdomain, so rhat contract forces the TENANT to protect its investment. That is WHY the TENANT (youtube is one such TENANT) PASSES ON the censorship clause to the ACCOUNT holders (holders of email-accounts, youtube-accounts, you name it. See? When Lex questions whether negative media/online attention can "destroy you." I think he means it in the sense that it can destroy someone's psyche, or internal emotional well being. I don't think he just wonders about it taking a toll on your brand/business. If the former, then the best lesson to take from it all is that in just a few short months, everything just blows over and is mostly gone. I think the key lesson is simply to never overreact to the current BS being thrown at you. You don't even need mushrooms and workouts, per se. You just need to take a longer perspective on things than just a day or two. And know that everything just sort of runs its course, loses energy and dies down.

Attitudes, laws, societal and individual beliefs have always been transient. If your intention is to be kind, honest and helpful in your words and actions you will feel free regardless of the changes or consequences because you will be who you want to be without intentionally causing harm to others ( if this is who you choose and want to be).Take careful consideration in your words and motives and you can then really feel free to express your whole views with less fear of consequence. I admire both Lex and Joe.. they’ve both shown such a strength of character which I find inspiring.. especially when faced with such criticism. I think most people listening to this understand the idiocy that underlines cancel culture.. because of its inherent expectation that one should not nor is allowed to make mistakes.. which is dehumanising. Making mistakes is part of what makes us human, that’s how we grow and learn. So the crux of this is.. if we really want to move forward we need to be okay with making mistakes.. and we need to be tolerant with others making mistakes as well otherwise we are creating a toxic environment for ourselves and others

4:23 This right here proves that Joe is a smart person and really does think things through. Thats a great and thoughtful answer that I think Lex can benefit from. Joes one of the first people ever to have these problems (being SO big on the internet) hes got some good advice and hes literally done it so theres that too. The numbers say it all man, at least when it comes to internet personalities . The people have a voice in that regard. Doesnt need to be that they all , always agree with him either. Just that he hosts interesting conversations and adds his bit to it. But clearly its working for him and also for you Lex. Its just good entertainment

Rogan wasn't cancelled. If Spotify would have dropped him, and no one else touched him, that's getting cancelled. Rogan made himself look like an idiot, and some people called him on it, others just stopped watching his show. Unironically, if you hang out for any time on the main Rogan subreddit, even his most ardent fans are quite open and honest about this.

As Marcus Aurelius said: "You always own the option of having no opinion". This applies to EVERYONE who decides their negative opinion simply MUST be spewed to others online. It says VOLUMES about them that they choose to voice their negative opinion publicly, and they fail to realise that they accomplish only the following: that they look immature; that they are unable to allow others to hold differing opinions to theirs; that they feel a need to be heard rather than keep their views or opinion silent.
@hectorgascon54672 жыл бұрын
Once upon a time, I entirely enjoyed Joe's podcast. However, due to a heavy dose of hubris and hyperbole, which crept in, understandably so (I noticed- after huge contract from Spotify). I was no longer a fan. After listening to this clip "the thinking mind" is the drunk monkey that perpetuates fear, confusion and self doubt. Amazing answer and process: " I took mushrooms" 🍄. Corporate media or any other media outlet, couldn't take Joe down. Nonetheless, Joe truly transcends/ understands his own nature,intuition and spirituality through micro dosing. Kudos to Joe, well done👏👏👏
