I couldn't find any atomizers that are in my neck of the woods, and the ones that I found and needed were to withstand a lot of heat and that they were expensive. Did some research on how most atomizers work and started to build my own with some hardware components at any hardware store. I just thought I would share this idea my thoughts with anyone who wanted to know. I currently use 4 of these atomizers on my turbojet engines afterburner. Hope this helps anyone 

Hi Joe, try using a single hole old diesel injector. Pull the guts out of it and put it back together without the needle valve in the tip, use fuel port and return fuel port for fuel and air

I like the idea of using the drill to crimp the supply tube. I have been making a burner for a foundry furnace that is simular to yours except I solder a mig welding tip on the end of the tube. the way you are doing it may give me a better ability to get a smaller diameter hole for the air supply..I run the air through the tube as I am using oil for fuel and I feel that it will clog less this way.

Put a hollow metal ball between carb and intake manifold atomizes and vaporizes gas, doubles gas mileage and cleans up emissions this works Please try this it works

+Rob S we learn something new every day, never new about compost tea. im guessing you mean like a paint spray gun idea, not sure bud I haven't tried that out, but I think it would work on the same principle. happy you enjoyed the video.

Yes in the build I made I used his crimp technique for the fees tube and I do not use a pump. I use supply compressed air to the outer tube and it siphons very well.

Darren Hoffman i I think both places, and i go to a place in canada called princess auto in the States a place called harbour freight in the video i did i used a small fuel pump to push out the fuel but i think you should be fine with gravity flow best of luck my friend

Yes hello again I was asking you about your jet burner the brass tube that you crimped did you find that the hardware store or did you just randomly find it out of something else and made it work could you tell me what size it was please
@Josefppaz
@Josefppaz 6 жыл бұрын
Darren Hoffman Hi Darren i got my brass tube at a hobby store, most hobby stores have this. What you do is take your brass hose barb with you and measuring the correct brass tube for it. If the brass tube is a little big just drill out the hose barb a little and you should be fine my friend. Also try to get a thin walled brass tube which would make it easier for you to crush in the drill chuck , All the best hope it works well for you :)

It is a small 12 volt fuel pump I got from princess auto or if your in the states harbour frate it works ok but not much psi you want to get something with 30 psi range so you wouldn’t get much back pressure from air psi. Take a look at EFI fuel pumps some of them have extreme psi up to 200 psi but you don’t need that like I said 30 psi rated if far enough for this ( jlfabrication.com/products/msd-high-pressure-efi-inline-electric-fuel-pump-43-gph) here’s what it looks like :)

Hi, Ricardo from Brasil, what kind of pump did you use?
@Josefppaz
@Josefppaz 7 жыл бұрын
Ricardo Silva hi Ricardo it was just a little 12v fuel pump. It didn't put out that much pressure maybe 4 psi at the most . In Canada I got this at a store called princess auto. If I would I would get another fuel pump that has better psi. Some racing cars have fuel pumps that put out 80 to over 100 psi they can be expensive. Another guy who has them is a pulse jet builder his name is bob Maddox on you tube he I believe sells these pumps. Hope this helps bud

First question on ask is what's the name of the other website that you learn how to make the atomizer at. Second question is buy soldering the end of your tip that you cramped you're not allowing air to go back down the oil line and into the jar of oil that's what I see the forced air coming out the tip creating a vacuum that sucks the oil out of a jar which lies you to ignite Bennett make sure there just want your opinion do I understand that correctly. Thank you for your response back
@Josefppaz
@Josefppaz 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Darren I made the atomizer myself the other websites I talk about are the ones who made jet engines. Yes Darren you understood correctly, there is a vacuum due to the forced air coming out of the tip. Hope that helps my friend.

Now, to make it smaller as I don't need four-foot flames lol. Also, make it bigger so I can get twenty-foot flames (for the lulz).

any ideas how to control how much fuel flowing into the nozzle?
@Josefppaz
@Josefppaz 8 жыл бұрын
+Bailey Stahl yes you bet get a high pressure fuel pump a couple of ball valves have a continuous loop from the fuel pump to fuel tank then put a T fitting to the atomizer. when you close the loop to the fuel tank for the return the pump will pump to the atomizer.

Would be more impressive if you used fuel oil, or even diesel instead of petrol to demonstrate. It doesn't take atomization to get petrol to burn.

Why would my atomizer not be working it seems like the air will push the water back 6 in and then it will mist and then it will push it back and then mist
@Josefppaz
@Josefppaz 6 жыл бұрын
Taylor Burkham seems like the air is over taking do you have a pump for the water? For the fuel side on mine I did have a little fuel pump with low psi rather then gravity feed. Or the front of the orifice air hole could be too small for the air pressure
