Hey Joe, I can list a myriad of reasons why I love and watch your channels but suffice it to say that the primary reason is your character. It is so obvious, that in essence, you are a good man (Testament to your upbringing). We all falter at times but we do the best we can and if we STAY BUSY ENOUGH in our lives, we won't have time to pursue the mundane nonsense that tarnishes our reputations. You are living proof why it's good to have purpose, so thank you and keep it up.

The AR. Most widely owned modern sporting rifle by a long shot. (Pun intended). Makes for a marvelous hunting rifle. And that’s as big a smile as I’ve ever seen you have Joe when your Dad is dialing it in. You need to frame a still shot of the two of you sighting in the rifle. A Tip of my Hat to you both!

I enjoy seeing the countryside of Minnesota in your videos. Well done. When I got partially disabled, my son did all the preparations for getting ready the next day to hunt season opener here in Nebraska. I explained that all I could really do was sit in the truck and wait around for him. He said that I could certainly be holding a rifle and watching during that time. I was choked up. He just wanted me to keep going along, so I still do. You know what? I've bagged a deer or two every year and ole junior drags them for me. You are a good son sir. Again....well done. It would kill me not to be in the field once a year!
@JoeandZachSurvival5 жыл бұрын
Thank you Brad. I just got a text from my Dad yesterday and he said he thinks he is now too old to sit in the deer stand when it gets real cold. I think maybe next year an enclosed deerstand with a heater in it might be in the works.

A man who has hunted deer all his life and suddenly realizes that his day may be over is a tough pill to swallow. Do what you can to keep those memories with your Dad alive and also alive in his mind. There will come a day when he hangs up his gun, and both of you may shed a tear. That is a pill I'm still trying hard not to swallow, because those times in the woods with my son are memories I want to keep making as long as I can. I like your idea of a heated blind....something closer to the cabin so that he can escape when he has to use the bathroom or just needs to get out of the elements. Keep up the good work.

Dad's stand feels like an apartment, so well done. Yes definitely an umbrella or a roof will do you good in your stand, I believe. Love your tent, your set up, every time you drive to the tent am glad you know where you're going because I and we all for security reasons don't see the whole track. I understand. But when you finally arrive even before opening that door bro, feels like coming home. I think this is a perfect home man! One day I'll get to do something like this tiny and cozy. Is all I need. I'm looking for a piece of land to do something simple like this in Miami Florida, where I live. Is expensive but I don't want to move from this County. Lets see if I get to my tent. For now, am getting inspired. Thank you brother!
