Just bought this car a month ago with 341,000km and now has 350,000km. So far it has been reliable and has LPG and previous owner said no engine problems. So yeah TDI isnt the only reliable option if you are looking to buy one.

The bumpy road in the beginning makes me remember how those things felt like they had no suspension at all, especially the s-line versions. quite fun to throw around corners though.

Not necesarily, this 1.6 is also reliable and less complicated than the TDI to repair. So each to their own

@@SorasakiGuh But it is illegal to drive in any city all over the western world.. Not Euro 6 and no filters.. And further more, still €3.000 per year in road taxes.

I buy a audi a3 1.6 m.p.i 75 kw ,2 weeks ago...in the Netherlands,hard to find...these engines are very reliable,bgu/ bse code serie .originaly its from 1972 ...and last for ever...building quality is very good from these series..with these engine its very economical 1:16 is possible on highway use...yes a diesel will be more economic ,buts euro 4 ,and thats not allowed in the Amsterdam region...thats why i buy the 1.6 mpi ...best vw engine you can buy in a second hand car.

zależy jaki masz budżet na ten samochód, napewno nie kupuj po taniości żadnej a3 w automacie bo może się to odbić potem wysokimi kosztami serwisu niezadbanych części odradzam silniki TFSI i FSI z początkowych lat produkcji bo są bardzo awaryjne i chleją olej na potęgę a remont takich silników to dobre 10 tyś złotych 1.6 mpi to tylko z manualem bo automat z tym silnikiem to troche pomyłka bo będzie zamulał strasznie celuj w jakiegoś zadbanego diesla z automatem, ale kup doinwestowaną sztukę i dobrze sprawdzoną jak chcesz automat na twoim miejscu dałbym sobie spokój z automatem i poszukał manuala dobrych 1.9TDI , 1.6 TDI albo 2.0 TDI na common railu bo wersje na pompowtryskiwaczach są bardzo mierne i mogą się zepsuć jak nie zależy Ci na mocy to kup sobie 1.6mpi z małym przebiegiem, który nie pobiera oleju i zagazuj go to będziesz jeździł zadowolony przez następne 300kkm

great Audi, very decent performance for a 1.6Litre. Love the passionate driving. The road conditions n the first few minutes of the video is awful, those roads are suitable fro Land Cruisers and Mitsubishi Pajero. Those awful roads is suspension breaker
